neogeo issue

Hello,

 

I'm new to launchbox, i got my previous romset from mame, rearrange them all and it looks nice

But, from scratch all works fin but the neo geo games, it is configured with retroarch (if i launch retroarch manually it works) but nothing happens when launching, (already tried to uncheck the unarchive)

 

Can someone have an idea?

Check that the platform name you imported your games to in LB matches the platform name in the associated platforms tab in your Retroarch emulator entry in LB.

sorry it's in french -> it's associated with the platform SNK Neo Geo CD (no other choice ......)

I would suggest renaming the platform to something like Neo Geo and then adding the platform Neo Geo to the associated platforms list.

When you import your games you can manually type in your own platform name if there isn't an appropriate one in the drop down menu. Plus you can manually add a platform to the associated platforms list by double clicking on the empty entry at the bottom of the list.

One other thing to remember since you are using a French language system make sure that none of the folders of your rom path have any accented characters in them. I don't know if you do or don't have this since I cannot see but it is something to keep in mind.

I did put LB in English to be sure, i did a new import in the neo geo mvs, the game isn't launching., no idea why and how to fix it

If i launch retroarch from LB and go search this game it works

If i launch neo geo games with mame from LB it works too, so i'm confused....

The issue is that you haven't added the platform to the emulator. If you look in your first post in the associated platforms the platform your game is for isn't listed at all. Add it to the list and you should be good to go.

In your first post you showed this image,

Where the platform is called "SNK Neo Geo CD" but in your associated platform image here,

That platform does not exist, so it needs adding, just double click the empty cell at the bottom and type in the platform name.

yes but i change as suggested by the first answer, now the assiciation is ok, but the game is not launching, with retorarch the arcade games doesn't launch either, the snes and all the others aorks well

FBALPHA no longer exists, you need to use fbneo these days, double click the core name and choose the correct one.
