NIGHTKILLER05
Hi friends! I have a big problem. When I try to change the title of a game by right-clicking on the game's name in the list of games, selecting 'Edit - Edit Metadata - Media,' changing anything in the 'Title' field, and clicking OK, the game is erased from the list. It’s as simple as that. I have LaunchBox/Big Box updated to the latest version, and I am using Windows 10. Please help me.

I just tried a bunch of games to see if I could recreate this issue you are having, but the renaming of a game seems to work as intended. The name gets adjusted and the place in the list shifts depending on the Arrange By order. So at this point, it seems that the issue is either related to a very specific option that you have within your config, or something else is happening to your game that's intended, but you may not be quite realizing what's going on. If you would like me to look into this further, zip up your Data folder and send them to me in a PM and I'll take a peak.
NIGHTKILLER05
Hi Faeran, Thank you for reading my post. This might be part of something bigger, as LaunchBox is also randomly deleting games from certain systems. To make matters worse, when I try to rescan the ROM folder for each of those systems (using "Tools - Scan for added MUGEN ROMs," for example), it doesn't find anything even though the games are there. Here’s some information about my system: Windows 10 x64 LaunchBox with Big Box license applied, fully updated LaunchBox and ROMs are on the "D:" drive (a Standalone SSD 2.5" 8Tb connected via USB 3.0); nothing is executed from "C:" at all. Affected Systems: MUGEN Windows NesicaxLive OpenBOR ScummVM Sammy Atomiswave Teknoparrot There may be others. I should mention that some of these systems were added in a non-standard way. For example, one of my goals is to have the MUGEN games compressed in 7z format. When I select a game, an AHK script performs the following actions: Creates a RAM disk labeled "A:" Uncompresses the game into "A:" Launches the game's .exe Deletes the entire RAM disk "A:" when the game is closed Depending on the system, the script varies slightly. I have this kind of script for MUGEN, OpenBOR, Windows, and ScummVM, but not for Teknoparrot. However, LaunchBox is deleting games from Teknoparrot as well as the other systems mentioned. Here’s a video showing how I add Teknoparrot games and how the system deletes a game when I try to change its title: Also I'll send my data folder via PM to you, thank you friend. Solution C-Beats Posted October 22 Solution Share Posted October 22 Reports like this are almost always because an auto-hide feature is enabled. In the upper right click View and then there should be a Show/Hide section. Make sure none of those "Hide Games Missing..." filters are enabled. If need be can also in that menu set it to show games marked hidden.
NIGHTKILLER05
Man, you are really good! What you recommended did the trick. I had selected 'View - Hide Games - Missing Box Front Image.' I deselected this, and voilà, issue solved! Now all my games returned to their lists. Thank you so much!
