Rob_G Posted March 6 Posted March 6 Have there been any improvements to theming in general so that wheels can have a proper curve now? The last time I worked on a theme back with CTC2.5, it didn't seem possible - at that time. Rob Quote

You can alter the rotation of anything in a FlowControl so I'd assume the answer is yes. That being said CTC is a third party app and not one I use so I'm not sure if you'd be able to from there. You referring to something like we have in the unified themes, or you mean more akin to Hyperspin where each logo is also rotated instead of strait? Quote

More like emulation station gamecarousel, I've never used or worked with hyperspin. If that means logo rotation relative to wheel curve, then yes to that. I thought I might go back and update Unified Lives.... The wheel was something I was never happy with Rob Edited March 6 by Rob_G Quote

Today we are at the video wheel and in gif so the positioning of the wheels that you wanted is quite easy to reproduce . Edited March 13 by Pademonium bac Quote

The wheel was something I was never happy with Rob can only be done using the BigBox Legacy Wheel unless of course Christian has updated the new wheel to support the rotation above, to my knowledge that has not been done. The wheel was something I was never happy with Rob I was actually trying to do this as well getting that same kind of logo rotation along the curve like Retrobat game carousel. I’ve just started using CTC this week and didn't code anything and was able to port and create two BigBox themes already, which shows how approachable the tool is for new creators. The only limitation I’ve noticed is that my wheel looks like a diamond. From what I understand, the only way to achieve that proper curvature and rotation is through the Legacy Wheel , which doesn’t offer the same flexibility or modern customization options. It would be great if BigBox could bring that functionality into the current wheel so themes could really achieve that smooth, dynamic carousel look we see in setups like Hyperspin, RetroBat, or CoinOPS. Glad I found CTC so now I can start experimenting and creating new themes for BigBox and help the theming community grow, so expanding support for features like this would benefit everyone. Quote
