  1. Compressing the GC games with Dolphin is taking an incredibly long time... I have about 600 more games to compress. Is there any magic trick or sorcery to speed this process up?
  2. Yes, I can open a game 1 at a time just fine. Is the folder option not for multiple iso's. On the developers website it shows more than 1 iso loaded on that view.
  3. I'm unable to compress multiple files using the Gamecube Iso tool @SentaiBrad suggested. When choose the option folder then point to a particular folder with 2 iso's it gives the following error that I need " boot.bin." I can load single iso's to the application just fine.
  4. Is there a gui program available to batch compress multiple Gamecube games in there own folder? Is there a GUI program non command line app available the batch compress ps2 games to CSO?
  5. Was the game count issue fixed in the new beta?
  6. Beta 22 LB - 25 seconds BB - 19 seconds (Hear BB Sound) 34 Seconds (Start of platform video) 67 Platforms with 23,013 Games
  7. Is anyone else having issues deleting games. I select all the games from the mame platform and then select delete. I see the program starts to not respond then the games disappear. I click on another platform and then I see mame disappear. I reopen the program to see lauchbox have mame readded back. This happens for Mame (9000+ games) , FBA (4000+ games) and Amstrad CPC (4000+ games).
  8. I've tried using bluemsx core directly from Retroarch but it just closes retroarch as soon as I try to play the game.
  9. Scaping my whole library of about 24000+ roms I'm getting 404 server errors for about 3000+ files.
  10. @SentaiBrad Yes, I was asking about Colecovision and I have applied your suggestions but it still does not launch from launchbox. I have all the bios in the correct location if not then I wouldn't be able to open Retroarch load the core and game without error.
  11. Unfortunately, it loads to a black screen with gray text displaying 0000.
  12. I don't have anything in the command lines which is probably why it's not loading correctly... I'm not sure if there needs to be a custom command to load the games and if so where would I find the commands to use?
  13. @lordmonk It works using the Mess emulator but I was trying to get a way from using Mess. It also works if I open Retroarch directly and load the core with the rom. It does not work when I try to load it directly from Launchbox.
  14. I'm unable to launch Colecovision through launchbox using the Retroarch Mame core. Retroarch loads up to an all black screen. I am able to load the core and rom files directly from retroarch though, but not from within Launchbox.
  15. The game wheel clear logo art disappears when scrolling through games at 100ms. It seems that there is a delay with the art refreshing in BigBox or sometimes the art does not show at all after holding down to scroll. As a suggestion to mute the wheel click if holding down the scroll for 3 seconds. Randomly when I launch BigBox directly I will hear the startup sound but the program does not open. The process "Bigbox.exe" is listed in the task manager as open. 17. @Jason CarrI renamed the "Platforms" folder to "Platforms - test" to rule out the games folder. So the Platforms folder is empty.
  18. 80 hour work week has me talking like a zombie lol. I was trying to say after all my systems\platforms were added. The platforms file increased the size and lines of code of the file from a 1kb (barebones file) to 467kb with 11767 lines of code. When the program is loaded it seems that some process is parsing through each line slowly in this file. Probably because of all the folders for the media is being checked?
  19. The path was specified in the mame.ini. For some odd reason lightspeed was not creating roms paths for over 5000+ files in a 12000 rom pack. I went back to mameui64 set the rom path again to double check loaded a chd based rom and that worked. Then I used the launchbox rom importer and did a file import of each 7z file. I tested after the import and the games load successfully. Thankyou @DOS76.
  20. @Jason Carr After doing some testing with a clean install of Launchbox and using my data folder it seems the bottle neck is with the parsing of Platforms.xml file at startup. Wouldn't there be a performance gain for large data structured libraries such as mine (25000+ games and 60+ platforms) to use an ini system since it maybe faster to parse. Non edited stock Platforms.xml - Launchbox startup time 4 seconds. Edited Platforms.xml - Launchbox startup time 1 minute 25 seconds Thanks for all your hard work! Platforms.xml
  21. I'm having trouble getting mame roms with chds to launch. I've tried lightspeed but I get an error with lightspeed that "rom cannot be found" I've tried with launchbox importer with an error that it's looking in the rom.7z for the chd folder. Rom Folder Structure: Mame > Games > rom.7z CHD Folder Structure: Mame > Games > "Foldername of CHD" > example.chd
  22. Which XML and code to modify the games screen text, font, color, and background opaqueness for the game data. I also increased the size of the platform wheel art to because I thought it was a little too small. I add a curve to the wheel on the game screen and would like to increase the size of the clear wheel art a bit. @CriticalCid I love your theme great job!!
  23. @Jason Carr I would have to agree with Camelspit on this one. I'm migrating over a 8tb drive from hyperspin to launchbox and the performance should be priority before more features are added. I don't think the issue is with my pc since it is a highend pc. 1. Big Box startup time should be less than 10 seconds to start. 2. Importing roms is taking a lot of time out of actually tinkering with the software to customize the build. What is actually being done during the importing of roms. Is it just building the database xml file and creating the folder tree for the platform? I ask because even if I just go through the process to import the roms without the options to download any media or metadata the process is still lengthy. 24. This is a great feature or even an option to choose starting platform\wheel in Big Box.
