Joe35car Posted November 3 Posted November 3 (edited) OK so Mario Kart 8 deluxe works fine outside LB with Citron. When I try to play it in Launchbox it's just gets stuck on the loading screen in Citron. Edited November 3 by Joe35car Quote
yontala Posted Sunday at 05:01 PM Posted Sunday at 05:01 PM Hi there, I've got the same problem with all games with Citron. When I start the game with Citron in standalone it works. But when I try to launch a game in launchbox with Citron it doesn't works. It stays on Citron's loading screen game. Quote

I literally just set this up and works great. I just don't like how it minimizes before closing. Here are the settings I used if it helps. Really nothing changed from the default. Quote

Haven't tested any games, but try setting the Application Path to citron-cmd.exe (vs. citron.exe). Here's the variables that can be passed to it: -c, --config Load the specified configuration file -f, --fullscreen Start in fullscreen mode -g, --game File path of the game to load -h, --help Display this help and exit -m, --multiplayer=nick:password@address:port Nickname, password, address and port for multiplayer -p, --program Pass following string as arguments to executable -u, --user Select a specific user profile from 0 to 7 -v, --version Output version information and exit Quote
yontala Posted Sunday at 08:27 PM Posted Sunday at 08:27 PM Hello, I tried to set the application path to this exe and it's worse. I obtain a black screen with a white frame inside and nothing happens. I tried with variable -f and -g Quote

In LaunchBox, edit the emulator and share a screenshot of the main Details section the Associated Platforms section Still in LaunchBox, edit a game you're trying to launch and share a screenshot of the Launching section the Emulation section (Four screenshots total) Quote
yontala Posted Sunday at 10:20 PM Posted Sunday at 10:20 PM Hello JoeViking245 and thanks for your help, here are the 4 screenshots you asked for. Quote

I don't have this emulator setup on my system. I'm hoping @Jabb3rJaw (or someone else in-the-know) can maybe look at them and see if anything stands out. If no one chimes in with any ideas, I can try sometime this week to set it up, see what happens and report back here. Quote
Jabb3rJaw Posted yesterday at 12:29 AM Posted yesterday at 12:29 AM Not sure it would matter but you have it installed in your Yuzu folder? Your path says Emulators\Yuzu\Citron\citron.exe Maybe put it in its own folder? Also I didnt choose it as a default emulator but not sure if that's right. Again this was a basic install I had to do with nothing special needed. Are your paths to your games correct? Quote
yontala Posted yesterday at 08:53 AM Posted yesterday at 08:53 AM (edited) Hi, it's not in the Yuzu folder it's just a folder called yuzu because citron is a fork of yuzu like sudachi or eden.If you look you can see that Citron is in a subfolder called Citron. For example ryujink which is not a yuzu fork is in another folder. I put all these emulators in this folder but every emulator has its own folder and his own Nand. I also tried to make as default and non default emulator and it didn't change anything. The path for game is absolutely correct because it works with sudachi or yuzu with the same path.
