How do add Hypseus-Singe emulator to Launchbox

Hi

i have configured Hypseus-Singe emulator in order to run several daphne games and i will add additional games not supported by daphne emulator.

Well, I have created the .bat files for each game: i run every game using these .dats files:

Now, i woudl like to add this emulator into the Arcade platfom section, with Final Burn, MAME, and so on:

How i can add this emulator and then how to add the games properly?

It's a couple years old but should still be valid.

I just run the bats in Launchbox with no emulator. If you can run something outside of Launchbox, you can also run it in Launchbox.

thanks, i see how to add games but i don't understand which is the platform i need to add:

I woudl like to know how to group all the games under one system, with its own icon, bezels (in bogbox) and so on, like all the others systems. I don't want to add Hypseus games under the "Arcade" platform category ...

You can type in any name.  You're not required to use any of the pre-configured names.

ok, i would like that LB and BB will show me the icons of the emulator and the banner/bezels and so on. If i try to choose Arcade Laserdisc (it is one of the default values):

later it asks which emulator i want to use:

Is it necessary to creare Hypseus-Singe emulator record before to import y first game?

What you can do instead is drop the bat files into LaunchBox, and then choose the option: None of the Above

Since you are not importing ROMs that's the option you'll want to use, then you won't have to choose an emulator.

thanks. I tried 2 different ways:

1) Tools --> Add --> Manually Add a game 

2) ADD button 

Using both ways, i can choose for example Space Ace, and i would like to add it under the Arcade Laserdisc platform (it is present into the Platform list), but i can't choose that value:

my final goal is to have a platform, for example Arcade Laserdisc, in this section:

Manually type it in.

It should appear there (once a game is added to it) by default since it's scraped as Arcade. 

If not, edit the platform and in the Parents tab check the Box for the Category you want it to show under.
