How to correctly display games list

Hi

i have a little issue displaying some games in my collection. I have 10 games: ACA NEOGEO Selection Vol. 1, ACA NEOGEO Selection Vol. 2, ...ACA NEOGEO Selection Vol. 10

Well, Launchbox displays ACA NEOGEO Selection Vol. 10 immediately after ACA NEOGEO Selection Vol. 1 but i want to display it after ACA NEOGEO Selection Vol. 9:

Is it possible to do this?

Go into list view and verify the titles. Look for any extra characters or (words in parenthesis).  I couldn't mine (in a test) to order them wrong.

If you manually set a sort title on these games the raw string is used which does NOT take into effect that it's 1,2,10 and not 1, 10, 2. We have special logic to pad numbers for you in the title to get it to sort correctly if you aren't using sort title that you have to kinda do manually if you are. For example if using sort title on these games all single digit numbers should have a 0 in front of them. So Game 1 is actually Game 01. This way in string sort 02 and 03 come before 10 (since the 0 is the first character it hits).

so i have to renae the titles from 1 to 9 in 01...09?

He was referring to setting the Sort Title for the games.

But looking at your screenshot, your game Titles are different than what you said they were in your OP.

ACA NEOGEO Selection Vol. 1 

ACA NEOGEO Selection Vol.1

You screenshot has no space between Vol. and 1, giving you a different type of sort order.

So you have (at least) 2 options.  You can set the Sort Title as C-Beats mentioned.  Or you can change the games actual Title similar to what you mentioned, but just add a space instead.

yes i tried to change the title of the first gae, removing the space.  ow i add the space again, but the issue is still present:

It seems that it doesn't matter f i put or remove the space...

The only way is to rename all the games adding "0"  ?

It looks like you might have 2 spaces in Vol.  1 (could be wrong).  Try adding a space [also] for Vol. 2.  That way you should have the first 3 'correct' and then look at their order.

Currently, the sort order appears correct because a {space} (e.g. {space}10) does come before an alphanumeric character (e.g. {no-space}2).

I renamed all the titles in this way and now it's ok

I tried to to that, adding a space before every number and it works, thanks!
