Hi, here's my latest tool;

๐Ÿ“– How to Use

  1. Select the Source Folder
    Click Source and choose the directory containing your videos. Subfolders are included automatically.

  2. Select the Destination Folder
    Click Destination to specify where the extracted images will be saved.

  3. Enter or Paste Titles
    Paste game titles into the textbox, one per line.
    You can copy data directly from the LaunchBox Audit window.

  4. Clean the Titles
    Click Clean Titles to remove headers and keep only the relevant titles.

  5. Install or Locate FFmpeg
    If FFmpeg is not detected, click Download or browse to its installation folder.

  6. Start the Extraction
    Click Start to generate screenshots at 25%, 50%, and 75% of each matching video.

  • .NET Desktop Runtime 6.0 or later

  • FFmpeg (automatically detected or downloadable within the application)

Just a thought, though ffmpeg is super lightweight, instead of downloading it if it's not existing, make direct use of the one located in \LaunchBox\ThirdParty\FFMPEG\.

Sounds cool.

Is it able to get screenshots for let's say all the videos I have in a platform videos folder and put them in the screenshots - gameplay folder of said platform and name them appropriately so that Launchbox recognises them, all of that in 1 batch job?

Is it possible to get the first frame of videos ? It would be great to have that for seamless transitions between screenshot to video making Bigbox game navigation more responsive.
