Starwind Amada Posted July 20 Posted July 20 The other day Launchbox locked up and crashed. Now it won't open. actually, it tells me that another instance of it is running. That's not true. I went into Task Manager and there it was and I hit End Task. But it still says there's another instance running. Do I have to delete and reinstall and rebuild my libraries all over again? Quote
AstroBob Posted July 29 Posted July 29 No need to re-install, a fresh restart should ensure all instances of the app are closed, though if you continue to see that we have more details on it here: - https://feedback.launchbox-app.com/help/articles/0507346-troubleshooting-another-instance-is-already-running-error Quote
Starwind Amada Posted 21 hours ago Author Posted 21 hours ago It just happened again. Launchbox is on a standard drive (the C drive) and not a cloud drive or Documents folder or anything. No processes appear Task Manager. The software locked up during use and now won't reopen and the help article is no help at all. I'm not rebooting the computer because that process takes over an hour. This should not be happening and I'm fed up with this. Quote
Starwind Amada Posted 9 hours ago Author Posted 9 hours ago Nice. NOw I can't delete it because Windows says a file is being used. So now, I can't open Launchbox because it thinks it's already running, I can't install it on another drive because the installer is missing files and I can't delete it because it makes Windows think a file it uses is open. This is unacceptable. Quote
