Launch multiple versions of BigBox

Is it possible to have a launch screen to show the three versions of bigbox  (LightGun, Racing, Arcade)?  I have seen this done but can't find the feature/plugin.  Suprised this isn't implemented yet or its me not seeing the feature.

You can't have multiple instances of the app running at the same time.

You could set it up to have just 3 Platform Categories (lightgun, racing, arcade) and open Big Box in the Platform Category View. Then from there you enter whichever category you wish.

In the first few years of Launchbox/Bigbox this was in fact a feature/ and we could actually launch multiple versions of bigbox however for some unknown reason this feature was taken away from all licenced members.

That's unfortunate.  Maybe just a small splash screen app that brings up a selector and chooses the Bigbix setup...

This may not quite be what you're asking for since it's not for selecting launch screens per-say, but just to call out in the upcoming 13.28 release we're introducing the following feature: 

Improvement: Improved LaunchBox and Big Box instance detection so separate installs or root folders can run independently without blocking each other

You can check it out in the latest beta which is available right now: 

Would this help in this scenario?

Im not sure as i no longer install betas haveing been burned by them corupting platform view xamls and their backups on occasion and now only install full updates.  But if it means we can launch another instance of a seperate install Launchbox/Bigbox exe then yes that is brilliant, as i use a different install on a different drive of Launchbox for my movies.

Maybe it's a dumb question, but where do i download the Beta version?  I didn't see the link on that page.  Or is the only way to download is by clicking the download beta version within an orginal release build? Or is the only way to download by clicking the download beta version within an original release build?

Correct.   Tools < Options < General < Updates
