About This File

Happy Holidays everyone,

Its been quite some time since I shared a set with everyone. I have been working on several sets and have a bunch more still cooking. Just slower and more picky these days with what's shared. I have created a new Master System/Genesis/Mega Drive "2.5 D" Box art template from scratch using scalable vector shapes and Adobe Photoshop layer styles for realism. This box template is accurate to the original as I used my own box as a source. Comparing this to what else is out there this is both the highest in resolution and the most accurate.

While I am personally not a fan or have any nostalgia for the Master System it was looking a bit sad in my collection with a lot of low quality cover art. This set is extremely high quality and large files hence the size of this download. This is all 114 released NTSC Master System games following the no-intro naming scheme. When dropping these in your Launchbox build there may be a few boxes that do not autoload due to the name differences between how Launchbox scrapes the games and what no-intro names them. Therefore you may have to manually update a few image names to your liking or use an alternate name within Launchbox itself. As always any issues with any images please reach out.

If there are any errors or something does not seem right please reach out! Stay tuned in 2025 for more art work sets! (The wait is worth it as there are some very good sets to be coming out!)

Kudos to the author for trying, but this set falls into the same traps as every other attempt at producing a clean SMS cover set, which is glaring inconsistencies in color detail and disparities in brightness/contrast settings. In some cases, you can still see visible creases that were present in the source scans. I was ultimately unable to use these, and ended up having to produce my own curated set through hours of manual editing to level out all of the inaccuracies.

Here's to hoping somebody can finally provide a clean set. WallyWonka, anyone?

You just registered very recently and have a single post to your name (being this post ^)... troll post, anyone? By all means post your elusive and pristine set of SMS artwork with all the "disparities" removed, "visible creases", and manual editing to level out these so called "inaccuracies". I'd love to take a look at your work ant see how splendid it is!

We all know you won't so feel free to post of some examples of these issues that are present in my set that need attention and they can be fixed.

Regarding the creases - what's the problem with this? If the box image resembles the source scan rather than a pristine photoshopped version, then all the better.

I do in fact fix the creases and folds up along with other small blemishes (there is a chance I miss a few here and there, I am human). I like my sets as if they were new and not used and beat up; so basically pristine condition.. I have a "highlight/crease" along the edge where the art would fold around the spine of the box. That person is an obvious troll. One post and it was that one. Sounds like a miserable human who needs to find a better hobby.

Thanks for the support as always tho froggy :P

If you have produced a better set then upload to the forum, I for one love Abeezy13's work on this set and others....
