  1. Hi LB team; I'm getting a pretty consistent crash with the "Populating Local Metadata" step on opening LB. Every 4th or 5th load, it does eventually load properly. I took a look in the Windows Event Viewer and got a log and a couple readouts. Wondering if anyone could take a look and see if there's anything to go by in there. Along the same lines, I consistently get a crash when downloading images/metadata and get to the "Clearing Image Cache" step. From what I can see in the logs, it appears to be a NET core error. I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling all of the NET core packages but the crashes still continue. Error log.txt Error summaries compiled.txt Report.wer

  6. Hi LB team, Been having a new issue recently. I've been trying to download and update metadata and media for my collection. When I do so, it downloads all the metadata, but when it gets to "Clearing Image Cache", it freezes and then LB crashes without a crash log. Is there some place to clear the LB image cache separately?
  7. I changed the naming of the videos that had the - to a _, and it's still not working properly for me. I can't figure out on which beta it changed, but I know on the previous version the videos were recognized properly even with the dash.

  9. Sure. Some of the console ones I noticed were Sonic the Hedgehog 2: Pink Edition for Genesis; (video file name just switches the : for - in all instances). Another was Star Wars: Battlefront II: Unofficial Update Mod for PS2. Third was Star Fox Adventures: Amethyst Edition for GCN. I can send application path as a follow-up.
  10. For me, I'll add several Windows games, and every single one will need to be associated by hand. Also, a lot of my TeknoParrot games no longer have the video playing, assuming because the association has been lost.
  11. Not sure if it's related to this beta or not, but has something changed with regards to associating Videos with game entries? I used to be able to download a trailer, rename it to the game entry name, put it in the Videos folder and it would link to the game entry automatically. Now regardless of the naming, the only way I'm managing it to associate is by going into the details and manually picking the video snap by browsing for the file.
  12. Is there any way to disable the dependency file notification when launching a game? For PPSSPP on Retroarch, it's saying I'm missing the file, even though it's in the correct spot, and pointing to the file doesn't seem to fix the issue.

  14. Thanks for the info. For whatever reason, I'm almost positive the second option ("Update MAME") was just downloading and replacing the current MAME setup I had previously. But either way, I'll know for the future now. Thanks
  15. Quick question, probably unrelated to this beta. But I went to update my MAME set and selected the "Update Emulator" option; it created a separate instance of MAME .264 instead of updating my previously set MAME emu. Was that a new recent change?

  19. Thanks for the update LB team. One thing I noticed when moderating: there's no mention of the game's platform on the moderation page; you would have to click the game and figure it out yourself. It could be helpful for when some media gets added for the wrong platform/version

  22. I currently have my PC hooked to an 8K TV, so could it just be a scaling issue? I believe it scales up 500% by default. I'll check it on lower scaling when I get a chance. Just checked. Doesn't appear to be affected by changing the scaling.
  23. Thanks for the update LB team. For whatever reason, the Game Discovery Center is having issues for me. Once I scroll down about 5 or 6 times, the options don't show up, and all I see is the background. It seems to consistently be a problem once I get to the Compete for High Scores tab. Added a couple screenshots of issues I'm having. The text is large if no clear logo is present. The second image shows what happens if I scroll down several times.

  25. Thanks for the Game Discovery Center addition LB team. Very cool feature. Couple little things: When the game doesn't have a clear logo, the white placeholder text only gets a few letters on the screen for the preview. Any chance it could be resized when there isn't a clear logo? Also, seeing how the setup has a similar vibe to Netflix, is there any chance the game video could play after being on a selection for a few seconds? Netflix does it as a kind of preview, thought it might look good in this setup as well. Either way, thanks for the continued improvements!
