Ok so I'm having an issue when using BigBox along with clone games. An example is Root beer tapper and suntory tapper. It randomly chooses either the tapper theme or the root beer theme. I tried renaming these as MAME rom sets but that didn't resolve the issue. It keeps jumping back and forth. Is there a way to rename these to work? Also have a problem with battle zone. There is battle zone (bootleg of mayday) and battle zone by atari. They keep jumping from videos to an other. They have the same name but when I try to rename the videos to MAME rom sets it still doesn't work. Actually the parent mayday densest show up when I import roms. Only the clone battle zone. Thanks

Was checking out my high score list and noticed a bug. Please delete the Omega 5,000,000 score. That is not correct. Thanks

A new High Score Dat came out for MAME 229. Will this be updated on LB or is there a way to add it manually?

I loved front-line as a kid. Was a hard game but fun.

Been awhile since I fired up Disc of Tron (Environmental) and got a pretty good score. Not to bad for an old timer (51). I like this version because who doesn't like to hear Sark.

Ok so I was expanding some MAME roms because I like certain clone games and I accidentally deleted one. Is there a way to add it back without having to import the whole set again? Thanks
-
Yes I used the bezel installer and did RocketLauncher. Then after that I did the MAME one. Both were and are working fine unit I try to assign platforms from RL to standalone MAME. That's when the bezel will just show the platform and not individual games. Thanks for the response. I'll try later tomorrow.

Actually I have them in both places. The ini folder and the MAME folder. Both are identical.
-
Actually I installed both. MAME and RocketLauncher. When I have everything running through Rl it worked fine showing bezels for individual games. Also worked if I ran MAME on it's own command line it would show individual games. When I changed a platform to use MAME only in LB the bezels will only show the system and not individual games. Should I just delete the whole bezel project and start over?

OK so far I tried two systems with success. Amstrad GX4000 and Atari 2600. Now this will be a little off topic but since I changed these two systems to use MAME only I noticed that the Bezels Project don't work for the games. It only shows the default bezel for both systems.

OK if this is the case if I unchecked the box for MAME will it still work for arcade games and non arcade games?
-
I know some systems need bios. I have a complete set and can run any game in MAME. I'm just having a hard time getting the systems to work in LB. I can run them in RocketLauncher and MAME but LB is giving me issues lol. I will try to check/uncheck. Why do you use a different MAME for non arcade games? MAME can run both Arcade and non arcade games.

Well I tried what you have above and it doesn't work. I have no idea what the hell I'm doing wrong.

you beat me too it but here is what I have for NES

It's just an example of a platform. Like CD based, cart based, tape based games. When I add to the associated platforms to use MAME they never work. I always have to go back to Rocketlauncher as my emulator for systems to work with MAME. All the help videos include Retorarch. I have no interest RA. I want to use standalone emulators like MAME and other emulators that MAME can't run.
-
I was hoping someone could hell me. I can get the majority of my system working but only when I use RocketLauncher with Launchbox. I want to say for an example use Sega CD with MAME in LB. Works fine on its own but when I try to use it in LB it doesn't launch. What command do I need to place in the emulator section? I tried segacd - cdrom and nothing happens.

Have my MAME setup to import Parents only and clones in the expanded underneath parent. Is there a way to choose just one of the clones to extract. For instance I just want to add Bubble bobble lost cave 1.2 and not the other clones under expand selected game..

V1 was known as Win3xO, however the project has been renamed to fit within the other projects we are releasing. V1 was released in 2015 using MEAGRE as the front end, and it was compatible with eXoDOS v3 which was released around the same time. eXoWin3x has been modified to run in LaunchBox and is compatible with eXoDOS v5. This pack includes 1,138 Windows 3x games. Windows 3x was an "operating environment" that ran on DOS. It preceded Windows 95 which was a proper operating system and did not run on DOS (although it had a DOS mode it could pass over to when needed). While Windows 3.x (the X standing for either 3.0, 3.1, or 3.11) ran on DOS, it was much more capable of running multi media content. As CD-ROMs were just beginning to become main stream at this time, this led to an influx of reference, productivity, educational, and FMV games released for the platform. The focus of the main project is on games & MPC CD-ROMs that were either released in English or are fairly easy to play without a knowledge of their native language. This project is a bit different in scope from eXoDOS in that it extends beyond just games. This is primarily due to the fact that the variety of commercial releases for this platform were much more varied and much less preserved. The software included in eXoWin3x is already setup using DOSBox, with a handful of games relying on VHD's due to their need of true DOS 6.22 files. The launching of games is seamless for the end user however, and no prior knowledge of DOSBox is required. Changelog: • Updated to run in LaunchBox • Concentrated effort to convert DAUM reliant games to ECE and limit the need for VHD • Addition of alternate launchers with pixel perfect and scalers\filters • Alternate Names: Support for alternate game names has been added. Now you can search by multi-region naming • Dynamic Installed Games Playlist: Powered by a custom LaunchBox plugin, it auto adds\removes games to the playlist as you install\uninstall them • Even More Manuals & Higher Resolution Scans • Unified launch\install files: Files are now universal & variable based instead of hard coded, making it much easier to move things around • Adapted to the new folder structure: Designed to support upcoming projects • Bug Squash & Performance: Hundreds of bugs handled in our new github The games included were identified by scanning several game archives, software collections, and auditing well known game databases such as MobyGames.

So I just came across this thread and downloaded all the sets from the Bezel Project and all is working. The one issue I am having is games in MAME that use overlays like warrior, warlords etc. When using these bezels the overlay is gone. Is there a a fix for this? I tried added the MAME artwork to the new bezel project but that doesn't work. Thanks

Update: OK I used your script but I had to use it for the Rocketlauncher emulator as that's how I have it setup for my systems to work in Launchbox. Like I said the goal is to eliminate Rocketlauncher and just use Launchbox with standalone emulators. Thanks for the workaround. It shows the LB/BB screen for a second but goes back to the game instead of hiding and having to use the Alt+TAB.

I tried that script but didn't work. Only reason I use RocketLauncher is because that's the only way I can get games to work in Launchbox. I want to use just the stand alone emulators without RocketLauncher and Retroarch which I never use but all the how to videos for setups on youtube usually use launchbox with retroarch. It's just weird that Arcade (MAME) works fine but when using other systems with MAME it doesn't unless I have bezels turned on in Rocketlauncher for that system.
