  1. I would just keep the files. If you start deleting stuff you might break games that need bios or other files to run the game.
  2. How do I disable the plugin. Every time I import a rom it checks for missing RA cores.
  3. Not working for me. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Lets try another system like atari 2600. For it work I would type mame a2600 airlock -view airlock. What would I put in the LB parameters for all games in a2600 to use their correct bezels automatically? Thanks again. Just frustrated. This is the only reason I keep Rocketlauncher around.
  4. Thanks. Yes I know they have their own file in MAME artwork. I just wish there is a way for games using MAME to boot the proper artwork bezel instead of command-line or hitting tab while in game and then selecting the correct bezel. This is the only reason I still use Rocket launcher with Launchbox. As of now MAME doesn't do this automatically. Maybe one day. Is there an easy fix in LB to make this happen? Also I use Bezel Project.
  5. MAME supports bezels but dosen't launch directly. Example would be I would have to type: mame odyssey2 voice -cart2 ufo -view ufo. How's that for a head scratcher.
  6. thanks I will try. sorry if I was babbling on. I meant the games work fine in Launchbox but they don't use the voice module for games that support it. OK works and it doesn't lol. So the commandline works when using MAME as the default emulator. But I forgot to tell you that I also use Rocketlauncer as the default emulator for this system. The reason I do is because it supports bezels. In rocketlauncher Odyessy2 uses the MAME emulator. So is there a fix for this? Not sure why it would have to do with anything for the MAME module in RL. Plus I have the most recent one and its suppose to support voice. Now I'm sure I confused you again lol. Thanks Edit: So for a quick fix I just changed the few games that support voice to use MAME as the default emulator and the rest of the games to use RL so the bezels work.
  7. Also I use MAME as the emulator but I use no intro roms. Not the software list ones. I do have the most recent MAME set for those. But when I use MAME for console games I use no intro sets. Does this matter? Everything works fine in Launchbox when I do this.
  8. Thanks for the reply but my head is spinning what you said lol. My games work fine in Launchbox using MAME for this system. They also work with the command line above for games that support voice module. In a simple explanation what would I use as the commandline in Launchbox? Little confused.
  9. Old thread but didn't want to start a new one. I tried the above parameters and it doesn't work in LB. I use the command (mame odyssey2 voice -cart2 timelord) in MAME and it works. What command would I use in Launchbox for this to work? Thanks
  10. Same here. I just was having a hard time with the coleco at first. Also you have to use a a800 ini file if you want Jumpman to work. Needs more memory. ) a800.ini
  11. Nice. Also the ini also works for all carts and smg games.
  12. Yes sir.
  13. thanks but I just created a mame ini. Named the ini coleco and inside put: exp sgm Just drop the file in the MAME ini folder coleco.ini
  14. Would this be for the custom cmd line in Lb?
  15. OK I'm trying to get to get games that use super game module in coleco to work. When I launch a game say asteroids in coleco using MAME I have to hit tab and go in the slot and change exp to sgm and reset system. Is there a command line so it boots straight to these type of games?
  16. Colecovision (bluemsx_libetro) Actually shows it's missing system\databases\msxromdb.xml but I don't even use this for my coleco system. I use MAME
  17. Thanks I'll look into it but I believe the emulator I was using was MAME for Colecovision through rocketlauncher.
  18. What is rom dependency? I just noticed this in the new release. I just skip it when importing a rom and it works. Thanks
  19. Old post but does it remember the default rom when you upgrade to new version of MAME when importing?
  20. Trying to get this working and have the lastest MAME software list .263 and there is no folder called lynx96k. Just has camplynx.
  21. Option to choose between Beta or Development versions of Dolphin?
  22. you might have two MAME folders. When you imported did you choose automatically or manually? Make sure you have LB pointing at the correct MAME exe.
  23. If you want to make this user friendly for new people how about auto generating default command-line parameters for associated MAME systems. Example Atari 2600 would be a2600 -cart. Or Sam Coupe samcoupe -ab \nBOOT\n -autoboot_delay 3 -flop1. Or make a list and post on the website all the default command lines for people to copy and paste. Importing games is the easy part. It's little things like this that people have trouble with.
  24. There should be an option for people to turn this off. I deleted the game folders again and closed and opened LB and they weren't created this time. Why would this happen? Hopefully it will stop created dummy game folders.
