  1. On the next update can you please remove this function. It just slows down LB and creates empty game folders for systems. Thanks
  2. Sorry about ranting and raving but when I put many hours in this frontend and stuff like this happens I get a little frustrated. It looks like I got it sorted out. I always have backup disk when my set is so huge I don't feel like dealing with a corrupt HDD like in the past. I opened and closed LB several times and it is now showing the 83781 games list all the time so it's back to normal. Just have to tweak a few things.
  3. Keeps fucking changing the amount of games every time I close and reopen LB. Thank god I have the data folder backed up on my other drive. Will go back to Feb 2024. You need to fix this on next update.
  4. This is messed up. I went to my backup folder and grabbed an earlier one. When I start LB it has a total of 83567 games. Which is about right last I checked. Then we I close and open again it changes to 83589. Did it again and changed to 83582. I don't have the automatic import checked so why is it keep changing the number of my games?
  5. New Feature: LaunchBox can now automatically import ROM files that are placed inside of a platform folder located in LaunchBox\Games. To enable it for existing LaunchBox installations, go to Tools > Options > General > Automated Imports Doesn't work on my end. Followed the instructions and tried different roms from Colecovision. Mine are in Launchbox\Games\ColecoVision. Edit: I think it's because I use MAME as my emulator for this system. When I import console games for MAME I have to trick LB and import using another emulator. Then I go back and change the emulator back to MAME. Nope that;s not the problem either. Tried a NES games and the emulator is RA cores.
  6. OK I now have the games showing in launchbox with the names but games aren't launching now. In the Sony Playstation Vita xml what is the path I set it to? I mean which txt? The ones in the file folder or the vita ids? UPDATE: Well seems to be working now. Games are showing names. The games are launching. I have a total of 988 games in my list. I just have to do a little cleaning up deleting crap like crunchyroll, facebook etc and some games merged together which are different games. Overall though much better. Thanks for putting up with my rants lol.
  7. Which one? The VITA IDs or the one in the files folder?
  8. Thanks for the quick reply. It fianlly went away. I did look for what you said but didn't have any. I did have a sony playstation vita(O) and delete that. Then it worked. I labeled that(O) as my original for a backup.
  9. OK so I want to delete my Sony Vita Playstation XML and system from LB. I delete it from the list on the lift. I also delete the XML in the playlist. When I reboot LB the damn system reappears. Why is it doing this? Thanks UPDATE: Went away finally.
  10. Which text files do I use? Clear Names or Vita IDs or the one in the files folder? OK I must be missing a step. I used the Sony PlayStation Via XML in this pack and changed the path to H:\Sony Vita Text. This is the file that's in the file folder? Games show up in Launchbox but shows only the ID number. I also noticed when I delete say YouTube from the list it will reappear when I restart LB. All the games were imported to Vitka emulator months ago and all launch. That setup is correct. I just can't figure out what the heck I'm doing wrong. What do I do with the CLEAR NAMES txt file? What file should I be pointing the application path to in the xml? Files folder? What is it. CLEAR NAMES TXT what is it? Sony PlayStation Vita XML = I know what this is. VITA IDs? What is the difference from this and the one in the Files folder? Uggg I know I'm missing something simple.
  11. I would really appreciate it. Pulling out my hair over here lol. All games work in LB. It just shows the ID# and when I rename them and close LB some save others don't. So your way it will have the names already? Sweet. I work nights so I will get back to you and let you know how it goes. Script would be great. Thanks again
  12. OK so I spent almost 2 hours renaming the id# to the name of the game. This morning half went back to the number and not the name. Im freaking pissed. What am I doing wrong? They are not saving the names.
  13. Thank you. I'm just missing a little under 100 games. Saved me lots of time. Thanks again.
  14. Ok so all the games work in standalone demul. I imported the games to Launchbox and all the games work except Planet Harriers. It works outside LB when I use Demul but not in LB. How doi get it to work. When I try to lauch the game it opens up demul and then closes. Thanks
  15. Worked fined. I just lowered the delay time so it goes full screen sooner.
  16. works. Was a delay with fullscreen . Thank you so much
  17. still in window mode.
  18. Ok so I need a little help. When I start the system using Demul it runs in window mode. I have full-screen checked but still launches in window mode. I have to hit ALT+Enter to get in full-screen. Is there a default command line parameter to solve this? Thanks
  19. Awesome. You're a genius.
  20. OK so I'm trying to add this to my Launchbox. It works in MAME using command "mame samcoupe (name of rom)". then you need to hit enter and type boot and enter again and it works. My question is how to get this working in LB? What do I type in the Default command-line parameters. And also probably need a script so I don't have to hit enter and then type boot. Thanks
  21. I still use it for systems with LB.
  22. Correct. On Launchbox there is a box on the lower right to show the name of the game. This applies to all systems. Was wondering if there could be an option for each system. As of now it's all or nothing. Thanks
  23. Are there icons for: Game Pocket Computer Monon Color Nintendo Sufami Turbo ScummVM SVN Super Vison 8000 Tiger Handheld Toshiba Visicom Thanks
  24. So I was wondering if there is a way or if not in the near future to be able to check or uncheck the text option on Launchbox per system. If it's checked it's for all the systems. Same as unchecked. Was hoping there is a way to have the option to turn it on or off per system. Thanks
  25. Thanks. I use the same. When I updated retroarch the dam bezels won't show up. The shaders work but no bezels. Tried to uninstall and reinstall bezels but no luck. Went back to the last update and it's fine. Not sure what's going on. Thanks
