How do I turn off whatever makes any game that I mark as a favourite go to the front of the playlist? It really messes with my alphabetical order and makes it impossible for me to use the feature.
  2. That "only" extra pop-up, gets really tedious when you see it 30 times in a row due to importing 30 games one by one. I don't need to see it 30 times as I am fully aware of what will happen the first time, I know why it is there, but usually this is the sort of thing you have a tickbox for with "never show this again". Sadly this involves going to some bitbucket thingy which requires me to either have yet another login and password tied to my email, or yet another thingy tied to my google account. My https://haveibeenpwned.com/ list is already long enough.
  3. I'm using import/rom. Using just the "add" thingy takes waaaay longer when you have multiple versions of a game and often misses out on media when no-intro names games the wrong way and launchbox can't find it.
  4. Hello, I just updated to the new version of launchbox and I was hoping there was one "feature"/"annoyance" I could turn off. I import all my games 1 at a time, up until now it's been fine and I have 2216 games in my collection. There have been no issues with downloading media/metadata, and when something was lacking I have added what was missing on my own. But after the update I have the following problem: Before it used to do this: Imports the game and downloads a decent amount of media, then makes a sound one time and displays a textbox with "x games imported all done". Now however it does the following: Imports the game, then makes a sound and pops up a textbox telling me that "1 games" was imported, and that I can now turn of launchbox/keep it on and it will download/resume bla bla. Downloads a f*ckton of media resulting in doubles and sometimes triples of various images such as boxart/screenshots/etc. then makes another sound and display the textbox with "x games imported all done" So on importing 15 games one by one, I have now heard twice as many sounds, and seen twice as many textboxes. How do I disable this? I want it back to how it was. A "never show this again" "tickbox" would be nice.
  5. So if it haden't been for it being a few versions behind it would "almost kinda" be a bare bones flashpoint ultimate to import into hehe.
  6. Hey, thanks for posting a really detailed and informative reply. I have not found anywhere else where someone have explained it in such great detail, and so efficiently, you really understood what I meant and got straight to the point. I see now that what I want is just not feasible (currently), and I really appreciate you taking the time to explain it to me. (Tbh this should be stickied somewhere/on a faq ). If Infinity "improves"/gets to a point where it works just as well as Ultimate, then I'd love to see what you can do with the importer in regards to that. (You said you were toying with a solution for the images). Btw I know there is a third version of flashpoint used for curators, and that one is pretty "bare bones", what is the difference with that one compared to the two others? (From a technical standpoint, not the general description). Don't have to explain a lot to me again if it is pretty much repeating yourself, I am thankful for your previous answer none the less :).
  7. I hope it is okay for me to ask this, and that I have not missed anything important, if that is the case I apologise, but english is not my first language. Does this utility make it possible to stop using flashpoint altogether? As in can I import games into launchbox and play them the same way that flashpoint does? While I like the fact that flashpoint preserves games, I don't have the space to keep the entire ultimate edition on my pc next to my other programs/games/software. This would not be a problem if they offered an "empty version" of ultimate to download which you could just "put games into", because while I can play some flash games without flashpoint, I would really like to keep the "offline fake server" part that makes it so that no games go online. They do have infinity, but it is not the same as ultimate, and some games are even broken in it compared to ultimate, and you have to play games first for it to download everything you need. If not, do you have any idea on how this can be done? Thanks in advance
  8. Hello there! I Generally only use the "platform view" (not the "platform categories" view), for two reasons: 1. All the platforms are neatly listed in a row and when I select a platform I get the view that I want. (I haven't figured out how to apply this to playlists and such, so I have to use the platform view anyways). 2. I don't want platform theme videos, I want it to show a random gameplay video each time I "scroll by/stop at a category). I want to have "sub categories" within those platform categories, while keeping it the way it is (for instance if I select "Super Nintendo" I want to be able to choose between released games and rom hacks). The problem is (as far as I have figured out): 1. There is no way to nest platforms, only "platform categories". And when you nest platform categories it does not play a random game video from games within that category, you have to have a "platform category theme video" which I do not want. 2. You can use "playlists", but the playlist view does not show random videos only theme videos again. Also I'm unsure if I can have playlists within playlists? Am I missing something/just being stupid? Also bonus questions: My theme looks like the picture I've included, however I don't like the "series" view. And would like to have the same look on all categories/playlists/etc. Is this possible? I've attached a picture for reference.
  9. My problem with M.U.G.E.N. is that it is hardly ever remotely "balanced". Sure It would be hard to have something 100% balanced when everyone can make characters, but It's not fun to have characters that just inta win with one hit/are invulnerable, or just plain don't work :P. Could I have a link as well? You seem to be great at curating in general :p.
