Were you able to try out this plugin while it was functional? I can't speak for anyone else, but the *seamless* incorporation of steam's Instant Replay, Overlay, Controller-Mapping, Broadcasting/streaming and even, for vanity's sake, displayed Current Game was a huge game-changer for me and my entertainment center. Honestly I don't see how the value of this plugin's FUNCTION/PREMISE is even debatable besides the difficulty of technically implementing it.

That's true, we should all do our party to bring attention to features that we desire as a userbase/community. I admire plugin creators very much because they share their talents with the rest of the community and increase the awesomness of LaunchBox/BigBox. I don't know what plugins you've made but I'm still very much grateful for your contribution (despite the features not being officially implemented). Something I've noticed is this plugin being the most popular on this section of the forums, with nearly 200k Views over 860 replies. Do you know if the developers come to this section of the forums often?

I would expect something like this to be an inherent feature to the LaunchBox/BigBox software, especially premium (considering a user was able to devise and implement the plugin alone in the first place lol).

Thanks a bunch for all the work you've put into this plugin, it's one of my favorite features of LaunchBox and I'm honestly really surprised the official developers haven't taken notice to something this useful. With that said, please be sure to take all the time you need to focus on yourself. My patience is bolstered by the fact you decided to share this plugin in the first place, all while it being nonetheless FREE!

All of the threads I posted in were relevant to my issue. Once I realized the topics were dead after years and with dozens of people asking for help with no replies or solutions , only then did I decide to make my own post.

This actually ended up being the issue. Using Nvidia Control Panel and setting the Launchbox/Bigbox application to prefer my high performance GPU solved this issue. I think this may be the only topic shown when searching for "GPU" + "Laptop" so I'm gonna edit it as fixed for anyone else who comes by. Thanks for your assistance! -

Here is a 2nd video to emphasize the ridiculousness of the issue. In this video, BigBox's performance is exactly the same whether or not I'm playing Elden Ring on top. It has no effect on it whatsoever. Elden Ring is completely unaffected by BigBox. So this shouldn't be an issue with my laptop not being able to handle it, or some software causing a performance issues with my hardware or something. No, I'm not. I get the same issue whether I connect my display to an external device or just use my laptop screen.

Hello, I'm having some horrible slowdown when scrolling through 3D boxart or platform/game lists with videos playing in the background using BigBox. I've tried several different themes and it's prevalent throughout all of them in varying degrees. I noticed it the moment I set up BigBox the first time two years ago, but after multiple different systems I have never once seen the issue fully disappear. Recently, I've been spent a lot of my spare time trying to get my build to run smoothly on my laptop to no avail whatsoever. It isn't the most powerful system I've used but it definitely isn't a slouch. I'd assume if it can run something like Elden Ring at 1080p consistently at 60FPS it should be able to run a BigBox theme with videos in the background. Is this something that users deal with and it isn't considered a general issue? I see various topics regarding sluggish behavior, stuttering and lag, etc. and most of the topics are unresolved. The solutions provided by admins/mods seem to cover very niche circumstances and claim the software should be working as intended. Edit: I don't use any software like MSI Afterburner whatsoever. My drivers, GPU and Windows are all updated. I'm very peculiar about the amount of software I allow to run at any given time on my laptop so rest assured, there is minimal bloat. No resolution posted in the thread? Are these forums real? There's also a moderator post recommending spyware for performance issues from 2017 as a locked and recommended topic.

This is still an issue. I've looked through multiple topics and every single one is dead-ended without any resolution. Navigating through bigbox has noticeable lag and stuttering no matter what theme I'm using.
