  1. Fantastic, glad to hear and happy to help. Happy Gaming! 🎮
  2. Oh, my sincere apologies there, that was my bad as I forgot this was for Android (the instructions I gave was for Windows). Let me see if I can find this out and report back.
  3. Hi there, thanks for the update and for providing those details. For the Epic Games Store integration, we read the file at C:\ProgramData\Epic\UnrealEngineLauncher\LauncherInstalled.dat to determine whether a game is installed or not. Each game also has to have a local manifest file, which is located here: C:\ProgramData\Epic\EpicGamesLauncher\Data\Manifests Can you verify that those files exist on disk and that the games that are installed have their own manifest file? I'm curious for games that actually aren't installed, if you try to launch them through LaunchBox and it asks you to install them, does that kick off the install in the Epic Games library? Finally, when you enabled badges for installation status, do they all just show up as uninstalled? Keep me posted and we'll see what we can do to get you sorted
  4. Hi @Clads92 thanks for the question. Absolutely, the easiest way to do this is go to Tools > Download > Update Metadata and media for All Games. Then, simply follow the wizard to choose what media you want to download and it will grab them for all of your games. Give me a shout if you have any issues with it. Cheers,

  6. Hi there, thanks for the informative update there and for elaborating on the situation. Sounds like you're absolutely on the right path there given the symptoms you're seeing. With the amount of controllers enabled, with the Use All Controllers preference turned on in BigBox, the number of potential inputs is significantly increased. Sounds like you have an idea which one it's coming from, but if not you could try disconnecting each of the controllers 1 by one until the issue stops. From there I can't say exactly whats causing the stick to jump outside the dead zone, but I wonder if some sort of keylogger program might help, to at least see what sort of input it's doing on its own. Keep us posted with how you get on.
  7. Fantastic, let me know. 2 Folders I forgot to mention (assuming you keep them in your LaunchBox directory) is the Emulators and Games folder, so that you don't have to re-import everything again. Let me know how you get on
  8. Hi @Peter007, thanks for confirming, that is definitely the culprit then. Because there is no 7z app there, it cannot extract the theme, since that is what we use to unzip the download. I have a feeling this may have been a side effect of your original install, being inside another install. It might be better at this stage to run a fresh install of LuanchBox to ensure it has all the relevant dependencies. Then you can copy over your Data folder, along with any media folders (images, music, videos, manuals). Alternatively, you can simply grab the 7-Zip folder from a fresh install of LaunchBox, but it's hard to tell what else might be missing from your current install, so it might be worthwhile to start fresh. Make sure to take a backup of your build before attempting any of the above, and let me know if you need further guidance. Keep me posted
  9. Whoops, yes you are absolutely right. I completely forgot that option was there, but I'm glad you found it since it's certainly the preferred way to do this than editing .XML files. Apologies for forgetting that, but glad you managed to find it and everything is fine and dandy now. Cheers,
  10. Hi @SplatTzu, thanks for the report here. To confirm, with the storefront integrations, you can't manually mark a game as installed, since it uses the install status of the game to denote this. So it appears the issue is that LaunchBox is having an issue locating your Epic Games library. May I confirm: What location have you set for Epic to install games to? Does this happen for ALL of your Epic Games, or only some of them? When you go through the import wizard which it asks you to pick what games you want to install, the game list it shows you is correct, right? For a game where it is installed, but LaunchBox asks you to install it, can you right-click and edit metadata, then go to Launching > Application Path and let me know what it shows there? Let us know and we'll try and get you sorted. Cheers,

    Looking for logos

Hi @Roey, I appreciate you may already have looked here, but I just want to highlight that downloads section on our forums, particularly under the Playlists & Playlist Media section could have what you're looking for. The playlist clear logo in particular has some good options to pick from. You may need to dive into some of them, as they usually come in packs, but hopefully, it may have what you're looking for. 🔗 https://forums.launchbox-app.com/files/category/28-playlist-clear-logos/
  12. Hi @GilmarDorigon sorry for the issues here. May I confirm a few things in order to try and resolve this: 1) Just to confirm, you've gone to Tools > Manage > Storefronts and then followed the option under GOG to log in? And do you have it set it import installed games, or all games? 2) In order for LaunchBox to see your GOG games, your GOG library must be visible to "All Vistors". Can you confirm this is the case for your profile 3) After doing that, can you walk me through the process when you go to Tools > Import > GOG Games, does the wizard show games from your library correctly? Let's start there, but let me know on the above and we'll do our best to get you sorted. Cheers,
  13. Hi @dragonkoh We haven’t encountered other instances of Big Box forcing unwanted inputs, so this isn’t a known bug on our end. However, we’ll do our best to investigate and uncover the cause. Based on your description, several variables could potentially be causing an input to be registered in Big Box. To start narrowing down the issue, could you please test the following for us? 1. Update LaunchBox: To rule out anything specific to the version of LaunchBox you’re using, please try updating to the latest version. Version 13.12 is quite old, and we’d like to determine if the issue persists in version 13.17. If updating resolves the issue, it may have been addressed in a newer version. If you’re unable to update your existing build, you can install a fresh build of the latest version (13.17) separately to test and confirm if the same issue occurs there. 2. Check the Theme: What theme are you using in Big Box? Does the issue occur if you switch to the default theme? This step will help rule out anything specific to your current theme. 3. Clarify the Behavior: Can you provide more details about what exactly is happening in Big Box? For example, when you mention “unwanted inputs,” does that mean Big Box cycles through games or performs actions like confirm/cancel even when nothing is pressed? If possible, a screen recording demonstrating the issue would be incredibly helpful. 4. Frequency of the Issue: Can you describe how often this happens? Is it consistent, does it occur only after leaving Big Box idle for a while, or is it entirely random? Let’s start with these steps. If you can confirm the above details, we’ll do our best to get this sorted for you.
  14. Hi @Peter007 thanks for the update there. You shouldn't need to download themes from the website, as it should be able to do it through this theme manager window. The error indicates that it's having a hard time extracting the theme that was downloaded as it can't locate 7-zip. Can you go to the path it mentions (C:\Users\clockwork\Desktop\ROMS \LaunchBox\ThirdParty\7-Zip\) and see if there is an app called 7z.exe there. Also, can you confirm: - Does this happen with all themes that you try to install, or just this one Let me know and we'll get you sorted. Cheers,
  15. Hey @Peter007, sincere apologies for the problems here. We had a temporary issue with one of our service providers which has now since been resolved, so you shouldn't be seeing this error anymore. Please let me know if it's still occurring. Regarding the installs, it's normal that you don't have anything in the Launchbox > Updates directory if this is the first time you've installed it. That folder keeps any updates that you've downloaded, but since the 13.17 install is what you did when you installed the device, it's normal that this would be empty. Let me know how you get on and apologies for any confusion caused there
  16. Hi Folks, we had a great time on stream yesterday building some of these lists with y'all. Thanks for the great suggestions, the community votes and I'm happy to say 2 brand new game discovery lists are now live in Big Box, those being “The Forgotten Ones” – A tribute to games that time seems to have left behind, with no active franchises or remakes to reignite their legacy. “I Just Want to Blow Stuff Up” - Games where destruction is not just an option, it’s the point. Thanks @Dan Patrick and @DemmyTree those for those 2 excellent suggestions. You can watch the VOD of yesterday's stream below, though it will only be available for 7 days: 🔗 https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2312688942 Keep the excellent suggestions coming, we'll definitely be making more of these with you guys in the future 😊
  17. This is already in Big Box. From Big Box’s System Settings, go to Options > Views and make sure Show Favorited Games First is toggled off. Favourited games will then continue to show in alphabetical order. From the same settings page, you can also turn on Show Star Next to Favorited Games to highlight them in your list Hope that helps, give me a shout if you need anything else. Cheers,
  18. Hi @Sinan thanks for the update. That makes sense, if you have auto-rom imports enabled, your ROMs to different locations it's probably tried to import them again, and because they are the same name its added them as additional apps. The only way to do this would be to edit the data .XML files, located in LaunchBox > Data and then under each platform. If you inspect one of those files, you should be able to see the entires that reference the old path. You could do some sort of find + delete to make that process quicker. However, it is HIGHLY recommended to backup all your data files before attempting this, just incase something goes wrong. Apologies there isn't a better workaround, but depending how many games this is affecting it might not be too bad. Let me know
  19. Hi @CyberMonkey thanks for the update there. The next step here would be to identify if the issue is something within your LaunchBox build, or something in your environment. An easy way to test this is to install a separate instance of LaunchBox (you can use the installer located in your LaunchBox > Updates folder). Install it in a similar location, apply your license and try to load BIg Box, does the issue still occur? If so, it indicates there is something within your specific Windows environment that is having issues, but if not it may be something with your specific LaunchBox build. That will help us know where to look next. Please let us know and we'll get you sorted. Cheers,
  20. Hi @TommyTomorrow thanks for the update, that sounds odd. Can you confirm the link of the page your using to purchase the license? Can you also send me a screenshot of that sign-in page it's showing you? If you managed to get it purchased and is all working for you though, no worries. But if you're still having issues with it let me know and we'll get you sorted Cheers,
  21. Hi @Sinan, hope you're well The logic for the multiple apps badge to show is as follows: The game entry must have AT LEAST 2 additional applications present (that are not documents) Additional apps that are documents (i.e PDFs) will not count or show the badge, and will instead show up under the Additional Documents section Games that only have ONE additional app present will not show the badge Therefore, it depends entirely on what additional apps you have present for those games. If it's showing the badge for most of your games, that sounds like there are 2 or more additional apps present for those games. Depending on how you imported your games and where they came from, there may be some additional apps present there that you don't want. Hopefully, that helps clarify, let me know how you get on or if you have any other questions
  22. Hi There, Thanks for the update there and apologies for the delayed response here. This is a particularly taxing issue since after countless tries we are not able to reproduce this behaviour on our side 😭 That said, I have a few more ideas of things we could try: I would be interested to know if a certain application is pulling focus away from LaunchBox which could be contributing to the freeze, we've had some people find luck with using a focus logger app, which at the time of problem could show any background processes or apps that may be interfering. Here's an example one you could use (https://github.com/JocysCom/FocusLogger) Outside of that, we'd really need to isolate if it is a LaunchBox issue or something else in your environment that is causing LaunchBox to freeze. The only way to narrow this down is to install a completely new build of LaunchBox (using the 13.17 installer), and only import a few games (not AHK scripts, no plugins, nothing custom at all, just vanilla LaunchBox). If the issue persists on that new build, then at least we know it's something in your specific environment, and if not, we know that it's something related to your specific LaunchBox setup (could be your data files, could some custom plugin or script you're using, anything that isn't vanilla LaunchBox). I realise it may be hard to test that, but it would be the next logical step to trying to narrow this down Let me know how you get on, and thanks for bearing with us here
  23. Thanks for the update there and definately good to learn about more use cases. It sounds like what you have set up with the categories is a good stopgap, though I appreciate the effort that goes into that. Although not ideal, you could leverage the on-the-fly filters in Big Box, to filter out any games that have lightgun support. You can of course make other playlists based on this filter, but I realise that is aan dded setup. Definately a valid request, and would love to hear about other's experiences in this area. But sounds like you've got this up and running for now. What's first up up on the list for a good lightgun game? Recently got myself a Dolphin bar to put my Wii Zapper to good use (need to upgrade to Sinden at some point) 🤣
  24. Hi @TommyTomorrow jumping in to see if I can help clarify things here: These are the requirements we recommend for Android devices running LaunchBox (taken from our Android Download page) Currently, LaunchBox for Android is recommended for devices running Android 10, which is several versions behind the latest Android updates. While it’s hard to predict future system requirements, a few key points might help your decision: 1. You’re not forced to update to a newer version of LaunchBox if your device no longer meets future requirements. You can continue using your existing version indefinitely. 2. The lifetime license ensures long-term flexibility and value. Even if you eventually upgrade to a new Android device, you won’t have to worry about repurchasing the app. At the end of the day, it’s entirely personal preference. There’s always the option to upgrade your standard license later at a discounted price, or you can opt for the lifetime license now if you prefer the peace of mind of knowing you’re covered for both your current device and any future upgrades. Hope that helps, happy to answer any further questions.
  25. Unfortunately, if the issue you're seeing in Daphne is still happening outside of LaunchBox we may not be able to offer any advice there, as it sounds like it's something with that specific emulator. I'm not sure if they have a support community or channel, but you can always ask on our Reddit to see if anyone has experience using that Emulator. Regarding this, if you go To Big Box's system menu (just press escape when Big Box launches), and then go to Options, the very last option in that list should be Mouse. Let me know if you still can't find it.
