  1. Do you mean reloads immediately from LaunchBox? Is it NES.emu that is reloading immediately, or LaunchBox? I don't think it's really possible that LaunchBox could be causing an emulator to load repeatedly, so it's probably something else going on with the device. To be honest, it sounds like some odd things are going on with the device. Both of these things are issues that I've never seen before anywhere, which tends to be a sign of faulty hardware or misconfiguration somehow. Though it's hard to say without seeing it all firsthand. Is your device an Odin Pro? Or the non-pro? I ask because @C-Beats does have an Odin Pro and things are working great on it.
  2. This is on my list to add, but probably won't make it into the next release. Thanks, I was able to fix this for the next release. This is puzzling to me; I'm unable to replicate any loop behavior like you're describing. Can you explain this in more detail? That said, I did just fix launching games with NES.emu on Android 11+. By the way, for what it's worth, I would highly recommend using a sideloaded version of RetroArch for everything instead of these individual emulators. It tends to work better, is free, and will save you from a bunch of these issues.
  3. @Vader Thanks, I was able to replicate and I have that issue fixed for the next release.
  4. Thanks guys; this was easy to add and will be in the next release.
  5. Thanks, noted. That is on our list to add.
  6. Thank you! I have this updated for the next beta.
  7. Thanks, I was able to replicate this and the fix will be in the next release.
  8. This option is coming soon, most likely for the 1.6 release (the release after the next release).
  9. We have never set that one up, so it will take research before we can really help with this. I will put it on my list of emulators to look into though.
  10. Do you know what emulators/cores would work well for that on Android?
  11. Okay, so the issue with the exporter is that all the games have the same root folder. That folder is intended to only have one game's files in it. Without that, LaunchBox has no idea what files go to what game. So unfortunately the exporter is just not going to work in that scenario. In order to do everything properly, all of a game's files need to be inside their own folder that is specific to that game.
  12. Right now we don't have a "Scan for Deleted ROMs" option like the desktop does...yet. Platform ordering is also a feature on my list to tackle.
  13. I'll have the documentation updated for the official release, but for now, here is the updated documentation. Documentation.pdf
  14. LaunchBox for Android 1.5-beta-2 is out now with the following: Alphanumeric navigation has been added to all games views! It can be accessed with directional navigation, the select button, or via the Jump to Letter option in the top menu. Game launching screens are now themeable and have been overhauled! You can choose which launching screen theme/view to use per platform/view via the View Settings option when inside of a games view. Individual games can now be added manually with the new Add Game option in the main menu Explicit Save and Cancel options have been added to the game Edit Metadata and Edit Additional Versions pages in order to reduce confusion Added options to quickly mark a game as completed/incomplete or broken/working in the game details menu Controller navigation now properly skips the dividers in the settings menus Added new default platform banner images for Sega Naomi and Sega Naomi 2 Added 83 new font options for theme developers; see the LaunchBox\Themes\Documentation.pdf file on your Android device Added a new DictionaryLookupConverter for theme developers; see the LaunchBox\Themes\Documentation.pdf file on your Android device Added two new properties to pages for theme developers: TopBarBackgroundColor and UseTransparentTheme; see the LaunchBox\Themes\Documentation.pdf file on your Android device Fixed some possible saving/syncing bugs when editing additional versionsFixed some incorrect popup window titles when browsing for files Fixed a rare issue where the edges of previous screenshots would mistakenly show behind videos Fixed an issue where launching games with multiple discs via auto-generated m3u files was causing save states not to work in some cases
  15. That is interesting that that happened. It mostly just means that there's something about your MS-DOS games setup that we didn't expect. What do you have listed for Root Folder when you edit that game? I suspect that the issue might be related to that field.
  16. If you can share a log file with me, that might help to determine what's going on. Also, do note my post above asking for the LaunchBox version and noting that you might need a faster SD card.
  17. Per the other thread, unfortunately this issue is affecting all frontends, and is a bug with Dolphin MMJR. Sadly I don't think there's anything we can do about it. Let me know if anyone knows otherwise.
  18. Oh my goodness, yes, I've done that myself too. It's amazing how much that can wreck performance.
  19. Okay, it's clearly an issue with using network storage then. We're already having to use a hack be able to launch games in PPSSPP because they didn't quite implement the storage access framework properly. So unfortunately I don't think there's anything we can do to fix that, at least until PPSSPP changes their launching engine.
  20. @Atki2022 I don't have that device, but a lot of people do and are able to use it without any issues. It sounds like the typical issue that some people have been running into is that they've formatted their SD card as internal storage. I believe you need to make sure it's being loaded as an external drive and not as internal storage (the SD card shouldn't be being used for app installations).
  21. By "don't resume", do you mean that the emulators don't resume after turning off the device/locking the screen? Asking because I just tested that for PPSSPP and it's working fine for me.
  22. @oyehia I just updated both PPSSPP and PPSSPP Gold and both are working just fine for me launching games. You do have to make sure thought that you add your ROMs folder inside of PPSSPP before you're able to launch games. Let me know if it's still not working for you. Edit: Is anyone else unable to launch games with PPSSPP?
  23. Yes. I don't have every single Android device available to me for testing, but there are many issues with putting your ROM files inside of that Android/data folder. The only thing we can recommend is using your LaunchBox folder in the root of your internal storage or SD card. If that isn't working, at this point unfortunately it's a problem with the device. If that's the case, then the only thing we can recommend is keeping your ROM files in a folder in the root of your SD card, but everything else in the LaunchBox folder the root of your internal storage, if that helps. But you'll create a lot of issues by putting ROM files inside of that Android/data folder.
