  1. Awesome set. Some boxes don't have the updated effects such as the plastic tab or the sheen. Any chance there will be an update? Or maybe provide the templates used for those of us that are a bit OCD about all the cases matching? Thx!
  2. Jason, Ok, no problem. If Ctrl+x closes it out that will work. I'll just change the Joy2key shortcut. Thx!
  3. I was prompted to update Launchbox to the latest version yesterday, which I did. Afterward, I'm unable to exit Launchbox via a 360 gamepad using a Joy2key script that was working fine prior to the upgrade. Basically i have it set to do an ALT-F4 when I hold the back button and press "X" on the gamepad. This worked fine until yesterday, and still works outside of Launchbox so I know Joy2key is still working. This also still works on any emulator that I launch from within Launchbox. For example, I can launch a ROM and then hit my shortcut on the gamepad to successfully kill the emulator, but this same shortcut won't quit out of Launchbox. I'm wondering if some of the added options for gamepad support broke this. Is there a different recommended solution to exit Launchbox using a 360 controller? Thanks!
  4. Hopefully simple question: I changed my email address on the games db profile section, and in the forums profile. However I continue to receive the weekly update emails to my old email address. Am I missing the section I need to update to change this? If so, where is it? Thanks!
  5. bd00 said jtrain said I wouldn't mind paying $5 or $10. If your're up in the $40 range then I might have a problem. Also, I hate subscription models or having to constantly pay for new versions so I would prefer a model where I can buy a lifetime premium license. Donate $10 now jtrain to secure a lifetime license and support the developer Done.

  7. Awesome work guys, love the mock-ups. To add my 2 cents: I think the sidebar idea looks the best (and would be the most functional) when using LB from my desktop. However I would actually prefer the layers approach when using LB on my HTPC in my living room. I have a pretty big TV but I sit quite a ways away from it, and I think a sidebar would be too hard to read. I think the layers approach would look the best and be the easiest to navigate with only a 360 controller. I prefer the one that shows a grid of platform icons, which the user could modify if they so chose. Of course the best of both worlds would be a way to choose between the two depending on preference, but this creates a lot more work for those doing the dev!
  8. Just wanted to share that I've been playing around with using LaunchBox as a simple frontend for my HTPC. I have it start up automatically, and I have a few icons along the top (when sorting by platform) that let me launch a couple websites via Chrome, as well as Plex Home Theater. I even have a shut down button. Then all my games are listed underneath. I have the taskbar hidden by default but its showing up in screen shot. For a feature request, I was thinking it would be helpful to be able to collapse the platform headings. As it is, I'd have to scroll through many games to get to the bottom. There is the filter option, but it would remove my HTPC shortcuts if I filtered on platform. Maybe rather than collapsing the headings there could be a nested screen option? So I could have a shortcut on the home screen for Super Nintendo, PC Games, Playstation, etc., alongside the HTPC shortcuts, and clicking them would drill down into those systems. Anyway great app and thanks for the hard work!
  9. Works great! Not only does the USB SNES controller I linked above work now, but another problem I was having is fixed as well. On another system, I had a n52te speed pad installed and the wired XBox 360 controller would not work unless that speed pad was unplugged. After your rewrite, it works fine. Great work and thanks!
  10. Love this!! Have been looking for a simple, box cover style front-end for a long time and this is perfect. I noticed an issue with game pad support though. I'm using these USB SNES controllers: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0034ZOAO0/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 When I plug it in and fire up LaunchBox, it slows to a crawl. Basically unusable as it takes 10-15 seconds for any key press to register. This is from the game pad, keyboard or mouse. As soon as I unplug it, speed is restored and LaunchBox functions like normal.
