I've noticed BigBox is not respecting the badge settings via Launchbox media packs. I have LB set to nostalgic and BB set to white filled. But BB is showing nostalgic. (On beta 2 and 3) Also, minor request: would it be possible to add recent games for "Platform Categories" default theme "Hybrid 2" view? Thx!

Thanks for the additional audio file types. C64 Dreams .sid files now play correctly again.
-
Is the .sid format still supported? The background music (.sid files) for C64 Dreams are throwing an error. Could not open 'E:\LaunchBox\Music\C64 Dreams\Acid Runner.sid'. Epic! Even has the 3D box. (Any chance you'll add that to Default Screensaver 3?)
-
Does anyone else turn on BigBox just so it goes into screensaver mode? Or am I ill? 😅
-
It does take a while. I have 88k games and the scan takes around 30 - 60 mins. Sometimes I've noticed that I have to click the scanning window or it will just stop.

Great update, LB team! I'm noticing (after a full RetroAchievements scan) that my "Done / Beaten" games are showing as "Done / Mastered". In the Metroid example image, I have beaten the game, but not mastered (as shown by missing cheevos). This is with the default progress priorities.

Neat! Thanks for the explanation.

New beta 13.17 solved the badge issue. I tested with core and content save structure. Thx for the fix! -

I switched the sidebar to playlist and back to platform categories. The NES save badges did not auto-populate. Zelda is still not showing a badge for example. -
FAQ: Managing Save Games & States in LaunchBox 13.16

Loving this feature and the badges! I'm also seeing the same behavior (click on a per game basis to show the save badge). My Retroarch saves to content. No customizations. Quick feature question: will this eventually be able to find saves for multidisc games that have a random character string for a folder name? Example. Final Fantasy VII on PS1. -
I'm seeing this error message when adding roms and creating a new platform. Logs aren't registering it either.
-
Interesting update. I'm enjoying the RAHasher 1.7. It's nice having PSP games show their achievements. Is anyone else having trouble logging into their Epic Games account via the storefront manager? I get a JavaScript error a mile long.
-
Bit of an odd one: 3D box model will not rotate for Arcade in Game Details using Default theme. I've cleared all images cache and double checked my image priorities in LB and image type in BB. Not sure what else to check.
-
Thanks for the point release! I'm still noticing oddities with GOG cheevos. The badge now shows correctly, but the achievements don't show in the game details section. (It does show for Steam and retro games.)
-
Wolfenstein: New Order is combined GOG, Steam, and Epic. The achievement badge and details (for Steam) show. Ghost Runner is GOG and Epic combined. No achievement details. Control: Ultimate Edition is just a GOG entry without achievement info. Do GOG achievements show if the game is not installed? (They do for uninstalled Steam games.)

I figured out what you meant by the import wizard. Forgot the storefronts were in there as options. I ran that and the list showed 122 games. Some were being placed under the MS-DOS platform. That's why I didn't see them in the Windows platform. So that mystery is solved. But achievements still are wonky. Sometimes after a scan, the achievement badge will show up correctly with the GOG games. But the achievement list in the game details side window does not show up. (It does work with Steam and Retroachievements.) Other times the GOG achievement badges don't show up at all. It seems my profile username is correct, privacy setting is correct, and no blacklist. I'm not sure what else to investigate.
-
When I did the initial storefront scan, it brought in 101 of my 122 GOG games (as well as the other storefronts). I've run the scan multiple times since. This is my first time using the storefront manager in ages. I figured there's a step I'm missing. That's why I was curious if GOG was working for everyone else.
-
@C-Beats Hi. Thanks for the info. I double checked settings and tried a bunch of username permutations. Still no luck. No biggie. I'll try again with the next LB release.
-
Is anyone else having trouble seeing GOG achievements? I've signed in via the storefront and scanned multiple times without success. Also, not all of my GOG games were imported. What would cause that? I'm using LB 13.10 with the default LB theme. Thanks.
-
Quick minor issue: default theme does not display EA games badges. It's missing this from game details view. (I grabbed it from the LB default theme). <Condition Binding="{Binding ElementName=EA, Path=HasBadge}" Value="False"/> <coverFlow:FlowBadge x:Name="EABadge" BadgeName="EA" DataContext="{Binding SelectedGame}" Margin="5"> <coverFlow:FlowBadge.Style> <Style TargetType="coverFlow:FlowBadge"> <Setter Property="Visibility" Value="Collapsed"/> <Style.Triggers> <DataTrigger Binding="{Binding ElementName=EABadge, Path=HasBadge}" Value="True"> <Setter Property="Visibility" Value="Visible" /> </DataTrigger> </Style.Triggers> </Style> </coverFlow:FlowBadge.Style> </coverFlow:FlowBadge>

@Drybonz All of my NES roms (.nes) are zipped (.zip). What emulator / core were you using? Bc Retro Achievements needs to be enabled in the emulator itself to earn them. (LB will just show what you've earned like the RA website.) Here's a list of system / emulator support from the RA website: RA Emulators For NES specifically: Standalone: RANES Retroarch cores: FCEUmm (that's what I use) Mesen QuickNES

@kmoney Sorry. I don’t have any other troubleshooting ideas.
