Thanks for the info. Do you know if you could add the video for the platform view? I have my mp4 videos in Launchbox/Videos/Platforms folder. I would want your theme to access those in the platform view somehow. Maybe replacing Details or replacing the picture of the system/platform with the video if the videos are in there.

2 ideas I was thinking about is: Platform & Game View: Really want: Instead of the details box in the platform and games screen you could replace/or adjust another view with platform or games video box instead. Optional: We could get clearlogo game titles instead of text? We could get a vertical scroll wheel with text or clearlogos on the left side for both platform and games view? Hopefully these can give you some inspiration but it is your baby so its up to you whatever you want to do with it. I just really want a platform video to be playing in platform view!

Lag only when scrolling platforms. Games list is OK. Will you be adding support for other platform and game views please, please, please? Your theme is fantastic!

Has anyone come across or have a fix for this? I change unibios 3.1 settings to console and usa region for example and everything works but when i exit and restart the same game it defaults back to arcade and for some titles you get a lockout screen because of this. i wish my changes would stick - anyone else?

Don't use videos and have reduced coverflow image quality to lowest. Will look into the options for last played and date added. Will use another view for now instead of coverflow. The pleasure is all mine actually concerning a purchase of Launchbox. :-)

Hi Jason, Just bought into the forever licence club this morning! Very pleased with Launchbox after 10 months with a 1yr licence. You have the edge with easy to use settings, great design, great forum support and support for every platform not just emulators. I have done some testing on 6.10b3 and have found the following: Using Windows 10 64 bit. In Default theme: Games list view: Coverflow with details is slow and laggy/jumpy when scrolling through games. Other views are smooth now. In Materialbox theme: (I know this might need to be reposted under Materialbox theme thread) Scrolling through the Platforms in Platform View using recommended text with details view is slow/laggy. It even stops randomly on a platform when you scroll holding down a direction instead of infinite scrolling up or down. Is there an option to show Last Played or Date Added in Big Box mode for all games or a specific platform?

windows 10 64bit. i have no videos either. strange.

I just updated to the beta and tried it out and it is the same. I have framerate on 60 btw. I decided to turn off all transition effects to none and I noticed an improvement but its not perfect like how you see it so smooth when Jason run his Big Box on the videos! I am not sure what Image Cache option does - maybe that would help? Is there an option to show Last Played or Date Added in Big Box mode for all games or a specific platform?

Hi My default use of Launchbox is Launchbox itself but when I try Big Box Mode the whole experience is really laggy and slow. I have i74790 cpu and 16gb ram and a 980ti gpu. I can run the latest games in 4K but I cannot run Big Box mode! If I use text list for both platform and games it runs reasonably well. Anyone have similar issues or hints I could try to make it run smooth? I am now using themes and tried MaterialBox but even on text list for both settings it still lags.

Fantastic theme! I noticed a bug or maybe my lack of option enable/disable features on my part but the platform list does not scroll. Not a perfect fix but if you get your details bar as you like it and then switch on View->Fullscreen or Press F11 this makes the Details bar stick to where you left it.

i use snes9x in retroarch and it works great. Others swear by bsnes accuracy. Try those out to see if that helps.

Hey guys, Great job with Launchbox - keep the features coming! 2 requests: 1) Is it possible to have more than one definition in the sidebar? Like sub categories? Or be able to create custom folders? Using Platform example as the main NES (12 games) -RPG (4) -Action (8) and so on Please see mockup jpg attachment for easier understanding lol Maybe combinations option? Like Platform and then Genre. 2) Also access to arrange separate platforms by their own optional 'individual' arrange by rather than a global setting. Example: Windows platform arrange by Last Played SNES platform arrange by Title If I need to submit a ticket or something for these 2 please let me know how. Thanks

I use GZDoom and I have so many different versions and mods I like to run. I setup Launchbox by using application path as: D:\GZDoom\Startup.bat Startup.bat has: @echo off start d:\gzdoom What this does is it opens my GZDoom folder so I can then choose what I want.

Hi I am actually posting this so that you are aware of this potential issue. I have not tried this but just saw it and realised the possibility? When I click on my license file I see the line: False If I changed that to True would it work? I think the point is that it is irrelevant because you (Unbroken company) must have a server or a way to check on your end who has what type of license, the fact that I change mine locally then won't sync up with your information so it wouldn't work and users may even get banned, right? I notice names can be changed as well locally in the same file. Let me know your thoughts on this?

Hey everyone, Loving Launchbox since 5.5 and am now using 6.2. I went to the changelog where it said that Windows has now replaced PC as the correct platform for anything running on Windows. I decided to bulk edit my PC platform titles to Windows which went great but I lost 99% of my artwork especially the box art front and back. Is there anyway to bulk edit the local artwork back in? At the moment I am editing titles 1 by 1. grrr. Also I am noticing that Steam Banner option is not getting unchecked when pressing Uncheck all button. Hope to hear back from you soon. PS: Loving the new Big Box views. Once Jason and the team get round to scrollable text it will be even more awesome.

Thanks. Inputmapper is working great. Tried it on Retroarch, Mortal Kombat X and Fallout 4 all working perfectly. Tried it on epsxse 2.0 and am unsure if its working but everything else is good.

How do you make the PS4 controller work on PC? Drivers? Wireless Wired?

I havent been able to use retroarch to run my coleco roms but I used an emulator called Bee and it works fine with Launchbox.

You say you have mostly multiple bins and 1 cue. How do you make it work?

Hi I have a number of bin and cue Saturn games that all work fine. Some of them will not accept the .cue file and launch via launchbox. I click and a small black command window appears and then disappears. I have to assign the track1.bin to get the game to load but them it doesnt have the music because it needs to figure that out from the cue! Some cues works where there is only 1 bin file but mostly any games with more than 1 bin file wont work. How does one get around this? Convert program could be used? Something added into the cue file? Thanks

Hi It could be that you need the BIOS of the DCast in the retroarch system folder. I use Demul with Launchbox and it works great if you don't get anymore help on this.
