  1. That worked well... Thank you!.... I decided to make .toml files for each of the resolution scales instead of on a per game basis DO you have any insight on how to make Xemu portable??
  2. Does anyone have the command line parameters to set resolution scale?
  3. When I add another Emulator called Retroarch the system doesn't allow the same name so if I rename to Retroarch 2 it removes the core column in the associated platforms tab. My goal is to have another retroarch emulator without the unzip function to run my MAME games
  4. I have my all my launchbox images and roms on my NAS. I do have a delay but it is only 1-2 seconds, the only real lag is when a large disk based image needs to decompressed. You have to be very wary of your network components.. I am using an WRT ACM3200 with a QNAP 669L. I am looking into link aggregation/bonding to speed things up.. not sure if its going to help
  5. Tried to run CEMU through launchbox and I am getting an error that says that it can't find the emulator path. it I right click on the game and select open CEMU it gives me this error System.ArgumentException: URI formats are not supported. at System.IO.Path.NormalizePath(String path, Boolean fullCheck, Int32 maxPathLength, Boolean expandShortPaths) at System.IO.Path.GetFullPathInternal(String path) at System.IO.Directory.SetCurrentDirectory(String path) at (MainForm , Object , EventArgs ) at LaunchBox.Forms.MainForm.openEmulatorToolStripMenuItem_Click(Object sender, EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripItem.RaiseEvent(Object key, EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripMenuItem.OnClick(EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripItem.HandleClick(EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripItem.HandleMouseUp(MouseEventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.ToolStrip.OnMouseUp(MouseEventArgs mea) at System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripDropDown.OnMouseUp(MouseEventArgs mea) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WmMouseUp(Message& m, MouseButtons button, Int32 clicks) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.ToolStrip.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripDropDown.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam)
  6. I watched your tutorial and everything is good..... Thank you interesting that it would play my gdi files with no bios
  7. Great idea.... Will do........ thanks for the help!
  8. ok that was the issue... but I have other cores I am using with retroarch that need the iso's unzipped.. can that feature be emplimented at a core level.
  9. ok... I tried it on my other system and neither system will load the rom. When I select a rom with launchbox through retroarch on my main system gives a message saying "retroarch has stopped working" which would lead me to believe that launchbox is loading the wrong core. when selecting that exact same rom through retroarch directly it works fine. On my other system when using using launchbox nothing happens... no error message same exact settings. what would be the the emulator besides retroarch?
  10. thank you for taking the time to look into it....... what do you think hyperspin is doing to direct the emulator to the GDI file once the folder is unzipped? also I thought of using .cdi images but demul doesn't read them.. which seems to be the best of the emulators
  11. space is very important because I am putting this on a kangaroo mini pc.... everything adds up.. compressing these would be a big help
  12. every game i have has a gdi and multiple tracks,, the gdi is the smallest file so compressing it doesn't make sense
  13. none of the games I have are a single GDI file... I have tried on Demul Nulldc and reicast..... how would you make it 1 GDI file?
  14. I double checked the space is there -L "cores\fb_alpha_neo_libretro.dll" really stumped on this one
