  1. OK thanks for the reply Edit: I've just used the above method with the FS-UAE emulator WORKS perfectly it's a great emulator too
  2. I've been trying to get the Amiga to work and have only just found this thread, @SentaiBrad is it worth me holding on for the video release if it's on its way?
  3. That looks cool so the cable made the fire buttons work. I'm using proper joysticks as Launchbox is installed on a cabinet, makes it easier playing those type of games. Just need to sort out adding a hotkey to escape kat5200 then it's completely setup, it looks like you have to press ALT and ESC
  4. Thanks or the help its working now , the mistake I made was I left the Bios file zipped. Just been on Activision Decathlon not a bad little game the joystick wont last long now tho
  5. @lordmonkus I've added kat 5200 but I'm just getting a black screen when launching a game , I added the bios file and browsed to it but the rest I'm not sure about could you explain how you set yours up please
  6. @lordmonkus I did see kat5200 I'll give that a go thanks, @SentaiBrad good luck I lost 3 hours trying with both mess and retroarch last night if you manage it can you please post your method
  7. Help, does anyone have this system running I've got the Atari 2600 and 7800 working in retroarch using Stella and Prosystem cores but the 5200 just won't work. The roms I'm using are .a52 files if that helps and I've tried the retroarch mess core too but no luck.
  8. Did this ever get solved as I also have the same problem with Demul07a_221215 on windows 10
  9. So far I managed to clone my windows to the ssd and that's working great , When moving LaunchBox can I simply drag it over and change the ROM paths or do I need to install it
  10. Thanks for the advice I will try that then , I'll put windows and Launchbox only on the ssd and see if that helps. I will update this thread with the results incase it helps anyone
  11. That's interesting 8 thousand games and I definitely have more than that, also I forgot it's not a sata drive I'm using Launchbox - Emulators and Roms it's a usb portable drive not a sata drive will this effect it
  12. I need a little help here , I've found the system I'm using is a bit sluggish while using Launchbox so as a fix I'm hoping that an SSD drive will speed it up. The Pc is old tho but I thought as it's only used as a emulator in a cabinet it should be fine , the computer is a Intel Core2 duo 3ghz ,4gb ram , a nvidia 730gt graphics so it's far from a speed machine but plays the games fine upto PlayStation. What I have is C: drive (sata) has windows on it and F: drive (sata) has Launchbox - Emulators - Roms So should I add the new SSD and just put Launchbox on it or should use it as my main drive and put windows on it and Launchbox, I suppose I'm asking do I need to start afresh and redownload everything or not and what is the best route to take in doing this
  13. CriticalCid said There are actually 2 different banners and logos for the TurboGrafx-CD already existing: https://www.launchbox-app.com/forum/features/the-image-thread-platform-images-clearlogos-box-templates-and-more/page-5#p13213 and https://www.launchbox-app.com/forum/features/new-launchbox-platform-image-collection-thread/page-6#p8984 Maybe the official platform images should be updated with the missing ones? @SentaiBrad perfect thank you can't believe I couldn't find it when I searched
  14. Im happy to make the image think I'll base it around the TurboGrafx 16 one (makes sense lol) , can you confirm there isn't one for the CD version. I will check the drop down box again tho
  15. thanks thought there was a possibility I had done something wrong when adding it, is there a download for the graphic templates so we can create our own based on the ones that do have images already
  16. Is there a reason that a platform images would be missing, I added TurboGrafx-CD as a platform but it has no images for it, it has the images for the games just not the platform itself. When I added the TurboGrafx-16 it worked fine
  17. Yes a long time fan of his books
  18. Y's on the master system for me, so good I am playing it again on the TurboGrafx 16CD now.
  19. Solved!! I had the wrong link setup for the ROMs in the directories, it was still looking for an old set I used in the past.. The reason it still worked in HyperSpin was the link to the ROMs is set by RocketLauncher. you never know someone might be as stupid as me one day and read this only to find they did the exact same thing :)
  20. Thanks for the reply, I will try a new set and grab the matching Mame version
  21. Its every game I try not just Bubble Bobble. The other frontend is Hyperspin and that uses RocketLauncher to launch the games, but every game works that I try on there.. I have noticed that if I try and run the rom in Mame direct I also get the error.
  22. Just finished adding all my systems and now i'm checking they all work, seems the Mame arcade is the first to fall. Not sure why this is happening as they still load on my other frontend, should I install a version of Mame just for LaunchBox.
  23. Derek thank you for your help, unfortunately every time I tried to force using MAME metadata it wouldn't display any games to import so maybe it's the Roms set I have that's the problem I will try renaming them first and if that fails I'll find a new set, once again thanks for the time.
  24. I think it's on Rom naming, how can I check this.
  25. I do have a paid life time membership over at EmuMovies so all good there, I tried the above with no luck seems that I got better results with the Sega Model 2 platform which leads me to think that there just isn't the data on the database at this point in time. When I've finished adding the rest of my systems I will manually add the missing artwork (if that's possible). Thank you for the help I did learn how to batch change the platforms so I'm happy about that
