Sega Model 2 is the only system left for me to setup from my old frontend but I ran into the same problem , and the games wouldn't run either. so until @SentaiBrad dedicates a video to it I've left it out

I had a similar problem so changed to use the WMP instead of the VLC

The files are in the launchbox themes folder default/views/***any of these***.xaml files , best to copy the default folder and change the name first tho

Yes took a look at Kazaml and it wouldn't load the same files , I've also installed visual studio in the hope to get a working environment so I can see the changes I'm making but that also didn't seem to work. Does anyone know of a way we can create these themes in a live type view or is this not possible

Just an update on this, The error disappeared after a LB restart (should I remove the bitbucket) and I managed to get Taito Type X working, all tho it did feel I was hashing it together a bit. I have noticed a couple of the game wont exit is there a way to add a exit key for them.

you've copy and pasted the line so its picked up the other wording before and after the -L "cores\mednafen_pce_fast_libretro.dll" So remove "TurboGrafx-16" and "True"

Still cant get this one working, I tried to add a platform but get this if i try to edit it... Is there a walk-through to add a platform thats not in the database.

Is it possible to create custom platform or not , everytime I try to it never displays in the left menu either. And when I click manage platforms then click edit on the one I tried to create I get an error, is this a known bug

I think it's a little too early for most of the community to start theming right now , I know we're all just waiting for it to become a user friendly application and I'm definitely excited about the way it's going but unless you have some coding experience we will have to wait I'm afraid

I have just finished adding new backgrounds to my platforms and thought I would share them incase anyone would like to use them. That looks cool so the cable made the fire buttons work. I'm using proper joysticks as Launchbox is installed on a cabinet, makes it easier playing those type of games. Just need to sort out adding a hotkey to escape kat5200 then it's completely setup, it looks like you have to press ALT and ESC

Thanks or the help its working now , the mistake I made was I left the Bios file zipped. Just been on Activision Decathlon not a bad little game the joystick wont last long now tho

@lordmonkus I've added kat 5200 but I'm just getting a black screen when launching a game , I added the bios file and browsed to it but the rest I'm not sure about could you explain how you set yours up please

@lordmonkus I did see kat5200 I'll give that a go thanks, @SentaiBrad good luck I lost 3 hours trying with both mess and retroarch last night if you manage it can you please post your method

Help, does anyone have this system running I've got the Atari 2600 and 7800 working in retroarch using Stella and Prosystem cores but the 5200 just won't work. The roms I'm using are .a52 files if that helps and I've tried the retroarch mess core too but no luck.
