I think it is possibly the animation on the selected game. It definitely runs well on a beefy pc. What are your pc specs? -
😁That's what I liked about it, you can always adjust your monitor settings HAHA. Stay tuned for my next theme, I've gone a bit less saturated more 80s than 90s 🤣. I will look into adding something like that but i'm really not sure it's possible, maybe with a plugin.

Just put out a new update. v1.2 *Added - I have now added a links bar for the GamesDB, Wiki and Youtube, and if there is no Youtube link then the button will search for the game name instead.

Sorry about that I've been making it on a 1440p monitor it's been a long time since I made a theme and forgot to test it on 1080p, thanks for the heads up. *I have just put out a fix for this

Sorry to hear your leaving Christian. All I can say is Launchbox moved on leaps and bounds since you joined the team and you made it what it is today. Thank you for all you did and I hope the future will be full of positivity for you.

You could leave it at 100% 😉 joking, I have not tried that but is it only my theme that it happens too or is it all themes. Only that way I van compare the differences to find a fix. -
Now updated to version 4.9, you can find the update within the LB theme manager.

Yes that explains a lot as the VLC was updated recently. Glad you have a work around now.

Have you tried changing the video player in the BB options just to see if there is a difference as this could well be a issue with either VLC or WMP

I'm unsure sorry, but I do know that a hidden item will still take the room as if is was there so maybe it is still loaded in the background, so a collapsed item you would think is not loaded. As for performance I find keeping animations to a minimum helps also on some images that don't need to be high quality then have them load at performance instead.

There is no need for a fix really, all you need to do is add a text element for the game / platform name and then condition it to collapsed unless the clearlogo is not there. There are some examples in CTC theme project files.

The Game Discovery Center - Theme Tutorial

I've not had a chance to play around too much with the 'Game Discovery Centre' (theme wise) but what I have seen, and the feelings I had were more being able to access the 'Platforms' the 'Platform Catagories' and the 'Playlists' from within the game discovery centre view all as separate wheels. Making it more of a mix between a 'Home Screen' and a 'Game Discovery' view. -
The fact you say you found a nice package of Launchbox on the Internet is worrying.
