  1. Does anyone have any issues with syncing to the Amazon storefront in terms of either finding games or noting their installed status?

By way of example, I look at my Amazon games account and there are 5 Metal Slug Games installed:

So, in the Windows Platform Category it cannot find ANY Metal Slug games.

As I want to separate games on Storefronts NOT installed, so this category is driven by my Playlist which shows items which are the Windows platform and installed. If the playlist doesn't find them, then the category won't show them.image.thumb.png.accaf530815c7360bca67f79ed172b9d.png

My playlist to show games NOT installed finds 3 Metal Slug games:

    So, the first question is:
Why does this find 3 games, but not all 5? It's not to do with the filter - even with no filter it doesn't pick up the other two games.

The second question is why does it not recognise that these are installed?

    Any help appreciated!

  2. Hi,
I'd really like to have all my games in LB/BB from Steam/Epic etc so I don't want to forget what I have, but I want it to be clear what is installed and what isn't.
I'm no theme creatorm, but wondered if anyone could suggest what I could tweak in existing themes to make non-installed games semi- transparent?
I currently use the Unified Refried theme, but assume it would apply to any.

    Thanks!
    M.

  3. Hi,
Currently setting up BigBox with my arcade controller and look for some help with the manuals.

Is there a keyboard shortcut to launch the manual? I know it's accessible from the game details menu but would be good if there was a direct shortcut key to open it either when it is selected or when playing.

  4. Hi,

Couple of small queries which I hope I can get help on:
    1) Importing Steam doesn't appear to offer the import of one of my installed games (System Shock). Is this because it's a demo? Surely this shouldn't be an issue?

    2) I often forget what games I have on Steam/Epic/GoG etc if they are not installed. Obviously I can add uninstalled games to LB, but they appear just like any other games. I'm aware you can add a badge but this isn't that distinctive (in my opinion) Would be great if they had some degree of transparency like below that distinguished them, unless this is possible and I'm missing something?

We typically track how desired a requested feature is by the votes on the BitBucket site. Easier to quickly see which feature requests are most popular.

Cheers - bit out of the loop but will do that.

  6. Can I just give this one a nudge again @Jason Carr?
There are so many cool new features such as retro achievements that would really benefit from individual profiles. I'd really like to get my kids into retro gaming more, especially now I know how to stream BigBox from Steam to a Firestick! Keeping achievements distinct, and hiding certain age inappropriate games would really be key!
Thanks as ever for your work.

  7. Hi,
Would you be able to bullet point a simple process for me here?

I have, as I suspect many here do, have my games all on a network drive. What I really want to ensure is that I avoid duplication as there are a lot of games!

I would simply like to have my PC and Shield pointing to the same files and I'm a bit confused as to the easiest way to do this.

    TIA for any help.

  8. Search is still crazy slow here on Beta 3 - I mean it's been going about 10 mins and still hasn't scraped "Arcade" media, let alone any games!

EDIT: Actually, games don't seem too bad, but platform was slow

  9. Thanks (as always) @lordmonkus. I did try that but if you do that (or just rename them the same in the import dialogue it simply thinks they are different "versions" of the same game.

This is fine, I just seem to recall it used to identify they were different discs. It would seem sensible that you could edit the below dialog to specify discs but that's disabled.

  10. Morning Launchboxers!

Just imported by PSX games and they have come in like this.

Capture.thumb.JPG.78e8807f8e4491af63ed65e94f2faa5b.JPGIs there a way I can amend these to specify they are the same name with different discs, or do I need to re-import and remember to edit that info when the games are parsed?
