Anyway to use Fanart backgrounds instead of the background video for the Horizontal platform view?

Adding support for Fanart background would be a great start for System specific backgrounds! I know I requested this on page 4 of this thread lol.

Had this error pop-up when i was navigating platforms in BigBox. When i closed it BigBox crashed and had to be forced closed. Couldn't get it to happen again.

Yeah my BigBox runs extemely slow on PlatformWheel3, but Im guessing thats normal because it has the Background video unfortunately. Those usually make my processor go to %100 usuage, so I try to stay away from those views.

I can let you know tonight when I get home. I stopped using this theme because of this issue. I was able to consistently replicate it right away by just navigating the menu of platform wheel 4 of this view.@Jason Carr
I believe @kmoney also was seeing this issue. Not sure if he still is.

It is. Its just on the backburner since its not too important. I remember requesting this about a year ago and voting for it on a much older ticket, but can't seem to find it anymore.

Go to the "View" folder within the theme and edit the view you want to alter the text in. In this example I'll use Platform view 3.
I'll right click and select edit on "PlatformWheel3FiltersView"

Sure thing. This happens because that part of the background image is pretty light so there's not much contrast with the font. You can change the font used via AOStyles.xaml -- look for setting AODecoFontColor. You can also adjust AOAccentTintyOpacity to be closer to a value of 1 (opaque) if you want. This will have global effects on the theme, affecting other views which use the Deco font.

Was considering doing that view, you just helped me make up my mind so yes. The next update will also have 16:9 views for platforms and games. It will skin itself with whatever image you want, and will be skinnable with videos too ... almost fell out my chair when I found out how to do that. Should be done in a day or so.

Thank you so much Cid. You are too kind!
It looks awesome and is running great so far. The video backgrounds still cause lag on my G3258 processor, but this is a good alternative for me and I'm sure many other users.
