I always check before making a logo, sometimes it's already made and was never added to other systems. When I finish a logo I search the DB to add it to all systems that are missing it.

If you are making logos for the fanart boxes like this one, it is using Impact font, why not use that instead so it matches more closely?

I pick a system in the database and go through the games one by one alphabetically and make the logos that are missing, and in between I do the ones that are requested here. Currently I'm working my way through the Atari 800 games.

size is fine, but I believe the clear logo should match the title of the game, so personally I would leave off the ship and subtitle, but that's just me, I know some like the extra stuff.

I don't think that's possible. I think you can search your own collection for missing logos within LaunchBox.

click on your account icon and choose "moderation" -

on the database website click on the icon for your account and you can go to "changes status" on that page you should be able to delete your incorrect submission.
