  1. awesome, this just leaves me with not knowing which items to set for up/down/left/right for the joysticks
  2. If someone can decipher what this RA line means, I think it will help me have a clue on the mappings. haha User1 B button(down) 1(N/A)(Key:z) I "guess" this is the setting for the retro pad B button? But what do all those other things mean for its current setting???!! What's (down), N/A, Key:z) And which settings are the right ones for the x-arcade joystick? Dpad? left analog? right analog? Outside of RA, my x-arcade just moves up/down/left/right for player 1 joystick and just prints letters for up/down/left/right for the 2 player joystick.
  3. I read that the autoconfig files should pickup my usb xbox 360 controllers so they are ready out of box, but I always have to configure them manually with bind all before they will work in a new RA install. So I looked inside the autoconfig folder and I don't see any with xbox 360 in the name. I do see xbox one. Is this why I have to config them manually? Is there an autoconfig file for this controller?
  4. Here is an easy one you RA experts will know for sure. Before I attempt to add custom game keyboard mappings (for my x-arcade dual joystick) by mapping it through: settings > input > p1 input binds / p2 input binds (i'm not sure if this is at core-less level or within each core, but that's what I read on the RA forum), I would like to make a backup of whatever RA file it is that has all my current related settings so I can restore it after I destroy myself I was also told that if I unplug my xbox 360 controller, then doing this should make my x-arcade work in game. And plugging xbox 360 back in should take the control back. Thanks!
  5. looks like they are almost done! 422 of 452 done (93.3%) woohoo!
  6. Yes, that's exactly why I started this thread to see if anyone knows of one to download.
  7. Thanks @SentaiBrad. I just tried that and then edited a few games to see if the Download button would find anything, but it didn't
  8. How do I go about that? I tried editing just one game in my Wiiware platform, changing the platform field to Wii and download images came up with no clear logos? Also I would need to do this for all games in my Wiiware platform. Thanks.
  9. Ahh, ok, let me see if I can do that. Thanks!
  10. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_WiiWare_games
  11. Hmm, I have many games for it and I just found a thread on the hyperspin site where people are working on the wheel images for it: https://www.hyperspin-fe.com/topic/13937-nintendo-wiiware/page-1 Sadly I don't see that all those cool images got put in the zip file in this thread.
  12. My Launchbox setup doesn't grab a single clear logo for Wiiware. Does anyone have a set or know where I can get them?
  13. whew! i found it. you have to select the game and then you can pick favorite. duh!!! but still don't see any others like Ratings, Stars, etc.
  14. I don't see a way to do this. Is there really no way? And ratings, and star value, etc.
  15. I think I found a decent way to be able to associate specific game favorites to certain users or type of people. So, when you edit a game, it has a Custom Fields tab. In this tab I set the Name column to have "Whose Favorite" with a value for my name, someone else's name, or something like "Kids". If the same game needs to be associated to my name and Kids, I just create two rows with Name "Whose Favorite" and Value "Kids" for one row and another row with "Whose Favorite" and a value of my name. And you can add as many as you want per game. Then on the left side of LB where you have the filter drop list to show Platform, Rating, etc, you now also have the filter "Whose Favorite". When you select this new filter, it shows all the names under it so you can pick what to see, like only games that have been associated to kids or yourself or whomever. I also set one game in each platform with value "Testing" so I get a single view of one game from every platform that I like to use as a test. It's not nearly as nice as using something like google tags, but you get the same type of result. You can't create a custom filter on custom fields unfortunately, otherwise you could also say show me all "Whose Favorite" that contain <something> AND/OR <something> or whatever. Only thing I really dislike about the Filter view is that when you switch to something else, it always lands on ALL, so you have to get a view of all games. I hate that Watch out though, here is the biggest BUMMER. The custom fields do not show up in BigBox as a filter view like it does in regular LB - awwwwwwwwwwwww man! Best I can do for Bigbox to show my kids favorites is just to mark the Rating to Everyone for every game the kids like and use "View Ratings"=Everyone in BB filter view.
  16. might be interesting to also try creating a new admin user and see if the same problem exists.
  17. Is the user you are logged in with a member of the computer's administrator group or are you running a user that is not part of the admin group? I still think there is a setting specific to Wii that you have in Dolphin that might be the cause of this, especially since GC works fine.
  18. Yeah both Wii and GC games run fine for me not running as admin. Is your Dolphin installed in Program Files? If yes, maybe your Wii settings are trying to write to a file in there.
  19. I run Dolphin on Win 10 with UAC enabled and I don't have to run it as admin. Do you have the latest version? Maybe try installing it again. If you installed it originally inside Program Files or Program Files (x86), try installing it somewhere else like in c:\emulators\dolphin.
  20. You don't set it to "PC" on a PC? Thanks for the info about this controller!
  21. @lordmonkus, does this work out of box with games that you currently use the xbox 360 for, or do you need to configure the emulators and pc games to use this one specifically?
  22. Ahh, I was looking at the one for ps3/4 which was like 65 bucks. Yeah, $39 for the one you linked to seems ok. I find that I like using analog joystick over dpad, but I have read the dpad is better for games like fighters. That said, I'm not expert. I am just a very casual gamer. Do you find that the Hori controller is well worth it?
  23. Wow, that's a serious (and expensive) controller!
  24. think i found a good mapping!
  25. I find the out of box mapping to be not so great because it's hard to use the Left Shoulder button to jump while my left thumb is moving around on the joystick or dpad. Any mapping suggestions that work well for most Saturn games?
