I am prolly old enough to be your father if not grandfather, and know well enough not to link to actual ROMS and copyright material. As such it appeared as a stab at me rather than help, as in my mind I technically posted niether. I didn't say I ripped "roms" from his set.... However I do apologize if that is how it was read. But again, I stand by what I said, thay are not actually rom files.

I do agree, but even just a bare bones guideline i think would be gratefully beneficial. Especially with some of the more obscure devices.

Oh man I couldn't answer that if I tried. The larger folder was downloaded possably 15 or more years ago. The newer one I am planning on using, which also coincides with the GamesDB page here, I rippped from a beautiful little piece by MADrigal. *REMOVED* For anyone looking for reference. CHEERS

Could we perhaps make a version of this topic a sticky? One that would take the general concensus and give a concise list of what emulator out of all the gazillion versions is the be all end all at this time for each system? Also I was thinking the other day why is this idea not included in the GamesDB part of this site, which I been using quite a lot lately?!?! lol CHEERS

Wasn't sure were to put this one.... Just wondering as it appears the "set" consists of 60 titles, why is ones such as popeye and octopus not included with this set. was just comparing an old old folder I recovered with a newly aquired set. New had 60 folders as I expected, old had 171. a few were emptied so i deleted though i regret now as the names may have had significance. but that folder is still sitting at 159.

Cheers guys... learned enough outa all this to write me own darn wiki!!! lol But all in all it doesn't sound to me that it is something I need in my current rendition. Just doesn't offer anything I need extra to the experience. LB for the win! ;-)

I was actually hoping that most things could be done without, so this is good to hear then me thinks. :-) Less software, means less to go wrong, means happy old fart named DaveZ :-) Also isn't is weird how old school xbox is less emulated than then the other two mentioned systems? Kinda muddies up my brain just a little LOL Working on getting my WII-U titles in order and added which is strange since i would think it to be so much more complicated of a system then the ol' xbox

Just wondering and looking for opinions before I get to far into my collections upgrades/updates and re-organizing shenanigans. Is there much point in using RL with LB these days? Like any unforeseen benefits, or what have you? Is there any sets/systems out in the wild that LB has issues with still, or just plain does not support? And as a side question, what would be the point of adding all my xbox original, ps3, and perhaps xbox360 stuff like I have seen many do, if we can't even emulate it yet? CHEERS

I am pretty sure you can just load the set up in mame?

I don' have anything to help you out other than I just tried it in Ishiiruka version and it worked as expected.
