yes I downloaded over my old adventure/rpg download....ran setup.bat, then patch.bat

In the Dos! folder after installing the new Strategy pack (running the set up) and the patch..... I've noticed that the three folders in games\dos! are empty EXCEPT for the .BAT file for each game...are these broken or were they removed? This game in my PS2 collection, has the most language/euro support of all my games...it's nuts, haha!

Figured out way, a bit time consuming if you are have more than 1 region like I do but I SORTED BY VERSION in LB. Each section, highlight only those games, EDIT in bulk, drop-down version and rename to only country for each country section, removing the rest, ex: (Europe) VIOLA...that works.....better than nothing! Thanks anyways!

Attached, the TITLE does look correct, so your version comment makes sense, you can see (USA).iso in version...I guess I could mass edit, make the version blank...but then I lose the (USA, (EURO), all of it.... Not sure how to proceed and keep the (country) and remove only the .iso

Actually the XML shows, something like this: icationPath>Games\Sony Playstation 2\Amplitude (USA).iso.gz</ApplicationPath> Isn't that just going to break the path to the game?

I have some actual EURO exclusives and Japanese translations in mine, so I probably won't do the last part, but that's very helpful, thanks again!

Yes I did, I just followed the wizard. I know what caused it...before I import ISO ps2 games I compress them with a tool that changes them to a smaller, real-time format of .GZ (causes a small delay the very first time to open a game, that's it).....but I import that, the file names are whatever.iso.gz so since the .iso is not removed or placed in ( ) Launchbox imports that as part of the name... :-( I just need a way to rename what is showing in Launchbox for all those files...without renaming the actual files...I can edit each one and fix this and it doesn't break anything, but I have too many to do...

Many of my games are imported with the title but then also .iso at the end.... I don't want the .ISO showing....renaming them individually works , but it is a bear...is there a way to quickly REMOVE the .iso as the FILE NAME (not the file itself) in Launchbox? Some config file I can notepad++ edit/replace? Thanks in advance.

Exo, for the SCUMMVM/DOS games in the collection, when it prompts you for which one....what is the advantage of choosing one or the other? Does one provide a better experience in some way? Are they identical, any negatives/positives you can highlight? Does it vary on a per game basis, or not really?

Still on the sea. :-) I know I have a lot of roms, just wish I had clear audit sheets I what I have and what I was missing still...hard to come up with consistent lists, they seem to be all over the place.

Since Launchbox just passing the emulator through, I’m not sure why it still crashing...maybe @Jason Carr would know.

Thanks....Any way to delete or reset those to defaults? I have not made any manual changes to those fields that I can recall.

Anyone else see this? When I EDIT any game and click the drop-down arrow next to publisher or manufacturer (all others work fine!), instead of giving me a list, LB gets a spinning circle and then locks up not responding, forcing me to END TASK the entire program. Using 8.1 non-beta, with Windows 10, but recall it happening also at least in the last version. Anyways, how can I can repair these databases so they load properly? Thanks.

No I believe I had issues with drag and drop when I did try that before...I can try that....

I'd try the beta, but don't want to update to those in this build....guess I'll have to wait.

As far as I can tell, since updating to 8.1 LB this is happening, my PPSSPP emulation will not run a game properly, but only within LB... I get a STOPPED RESPONDING error, I've tried updating PPSSPP in case something was corrupted, no good....I CAN right-click a game in Launchbox and launch only PPSSPP and it plays a game fine, from within its own menu....but if I open ANY PSP game within LB I get a crash... (see image) Anything else I can try?
