I'll probably archive it, but still have it as a massive master Lauunchbox library, it's still fun to set it up and show it off in BigBox, even if it loads slowly....but you're right, I'll also build a second smaller collection of favorites/games I want to play (seriously plan to), or believe I would like on a smaller drive...I'll just shelve the bigger one.

Ahhh but many love to collect them, a bragging rights thing I guess.

Same here, including playlists I've created and genre ones, I'm at 100 (probably about 70 platforms if you remove playlists) and 43K titles total not counting comics and vintage video game magazines.....not sure what else to add...I think a lot of larger ones also include non-english titles, duplicates, mame titles that are not merged, multi-disc games that may not be merged, etc......that would make sense...mine does not, except translations to English titles and about 160 jap famicom games, and a few NEC-PC-FX games..

WOWzers....what hardware are you running this from? curious about your particular hard drive/raid implementation for it. Do you audit your collections at all or just wing it best you can?

Hey guys, I fixed the issue, had nothing to do with the drive, I’m using a 128 GB USB three SanDisk ultra, and the problem was actually an Nvidia setting in GeForce control panel... no more flashing black... In those settings you go to the 3-D section, and scroll down and choose the option – Desktop only, I forget what it’s called but something to do with how it renders or detect. something. It was set to application controlled and somehow that was messing it up

Probably should remove all vid clips, just love how pretty it makes BIGBOX...lol

The most modern games I have on my small flash 128GB collection are a 6 Saturn (mednafen standalone) and 10 dreamcast (demul standalone), 7 PSP (PPSSPP), and 46 PS1 (rearmed retroarch), and they seen fine...but havent played very much on it....maybe I should, lol

I want to do this with a second collection, just not my main "library of gaming history collection I have now"....how much space does yours take up on a drive with all media assets that you have?

I only buy during Steam sales generally, when games are 80+% off sometimes 90% off...

I wish I could figure out why LB flashes black on my flash drive, but not my external hard drive...it's the same LB version/files (just less games/emulators)...

That was great! Thanks! But how do I close the emulator without pressing ALT+4? is there a one key solution for doing that? ESC doesn't work and there is no X to click with the mouse...

Same theme and plugins...I didn't change that...but noticed the flashing occurs less when I removed the extra BACKGROUND videos for the theme (city hunter 2), I had like 10 of them, now I have 2 and it's more rarely happening... But it doesn't happen on my external hard drive install, on the same computer...

LB works fine with my build, but BigBox goes between working fine, to often flashing black (on the same computer I have my main build of LB, which doesn't do this at all...) Anything I can do to fix this? I'm perplexed...it's set up the same, it's just a smaller collection of the games I have on my 8TB version... Thanks in advance.

Yeah, but that process takes way too long when you have hundreds or thousands of games to fix...hopefully they give us a faster way eventually...like Jason said, maybe it can be a voted item next.

Building some smaller USB 3 Launchbox builds, wondering what the best themes are for performance, but still look nice?

It seemed to work, out out of 4155 covers in my comics, I lost 30 of them, but from what I can tell, they were actually likely not used/dupes, so that's good!

I only have 500+ Steam games, you guys make me look like I'm not trying hard enough, LOL

Any ideas guys? I need to backup my drive, and I want to clean it up first before I do, but not if it's gonna kill my extra front box covers....
