  1. Looking for a way to reduce my 60 video files to a smaller size, since i can tell they're lagging when shown in BigBox, I have a way of doing it one by one. But that's way to time consuming. thanks in advance.
  2. hey, as title says i'm wondering if there is any possible way to switch button inputs from button 2 --> 3 or anything similiar? Since "A" on my controllers have different "buttons" assigned to them and you can't configure multiple controllers in bigbox i thought perhaps you could change the buttons input alltogether? example
  3. hey, so i've been having the trouble of having to adjust the deadzone for all of my controllers with each emulator, which there are a lot of. Also for some you can only adjust the deadzone for all controllers simultaneously which is okay but not prefered. I'm wondering if theres any 3rd party software which can adjust the deadzone for all of my controllers simultaneously, so i don't have to configure every single emulator i have? thanks in adv
  4. Quick question; None of my games gets their "series" tab filled with anything, is this a bug or are you just supposed to manually enter it yourself? Might be posting this in the wrong forum section (?)
  5. Yeah this would be great once it gets implemented.
  6. Just thought i'd update my situation. Removed and re-downloaded BigBox addon under your repo in kodi (assumed that i didn't need to update the repo for it to work). Also removed the database file before this. I setup everything as before but i still get the same issue. I have a lot of games on the pc i tested it on, so i gave it a try on my other pc with 10-20 games, no issues there ('exact' same kodi installed on the two pcs).
  7. Indeed if this is an official integration into Launchbox i'd imagine PC Specs, Emulator version etc would be included. But honestly in my opinion i would just want to see if my game runs good or bad with not many details and I think just the Star/rating Feature for Compatibility would alone be greatly appreciated by a lot of people.
  8. I actually solved this, i had made copies of the files before called "windows - copy" and "windows - copy 2" etc. Apparently even though i deleted the normal default "windows" xml file launchbox automatically took information from "windows - copy" which concluded in me not being able to make any configurations to my windows games. I now packed all my copies into another folder so launchbox doesn't mix them up.
  9. Hey, every time i try to "update database" i get an error message - this is in my kodi.log 01:57:20.302 T:4208 ERROR: XFILE::CDirectory::GetDirectory - Error getting plugin://plugin.video.bigbox/?iconimage=C%3a%5cUsers%5cAVARIS%5cAppData%5cRoaming%5cKodi%5caddons%5cplugin.video.bigbox%5cresources%5cimages%5cupdatedatabase%5cicon.png&mode=51&name=Update%20Database&url=url 01:57:20.303 T:4208 ERROR: CGUIMediaWindow::GetDirectory(plugin://plugin.video.bigbox/?iconimage=C%3a%5cUsers%5cAVARIS%5cAppData%5cRoaming%5cKodi%5caddons%5cplugin.video.bigbox%5cresources%5cimages%5cupdatedatabase%5cicon.png&mode=51&name=Update%20Database&url=url) failed windows7 x64
  10. yeah definitely, but if just focusing on the more known emulators then this would be amazing
  11. If its connected to the emulators wikis it wouldn't require any update, if thats even possible to begin with. Also i'm guessing that it would just use the newest version or 'stable release' of the emulator
  12. hey, i've always had troubles with a few of my "newer" consoles and their games when it comes to checking if they work. I've noticed emulator such as Project64, Dolphin and a few others already got integrated compatibility list for the games you've listed, with notes of issues and possible fixes for them. It looks something like this or this. I was thinking if theres a way to create a plugin, or perhaps an official integration into launchbox where you can view (depending on your emulator) notes / playable status for each game. Since there is wikis for most of the emulators with compatibility lists I'm guessing that's where this feature would be connected towards. An example how it COULD look inside Bigbox: This would personally save me so much time. EDIT: I made an bitbucket request so if you want it to be more seen please vote here.
  13. Every time i try to delete the windows.xml and relaunch launchbox it just reappears and all the games are there again, it's like its super glued.. Also, i can't really import all my PC games again, i have a TON of configurations for each of my 70 ish games which took me a really long time to set-up. any other ideas?
  14. Hey, so i'm having a problem where from nowhere my windows games are stuck. To explain further, whenever i delete for example Crysis 2 it just reappears after closing and opening Launchbox. I've tried deleting the games multiple times, as well as other games within "Windows" but it still just reappears, this goes for any changes like changing video, images or information etc. Tried restarting my pc & this issue only appears in windows section, no games outside are affected. I'm using the latest 7.10 version of launchbox (beta disabled). help?
  15. Hey, this is the third suggestion of my little collection First of all a little GIF of an example (afterFX game on point): Alternate Link (with audio) Be able to select the boxart of a game and click to switch sides. Perhaps same thing for pausing and playing the gameplay video. I'm not too familiar with coding (getting there), but i imagine there would be a lot of implications for this, like the code needing to be an adjusted for each theme's view because of the different video/boxart placement. But this would be amazing to have inside BigBox to replace the dull flip box/fullscreenvideo text. Tell me what you think
  16. Was actually gonna post about this but i imagined that is already was a popular opinion. Did a little photoshopped image of how it would look though
  17. Hey, this will be the second suggestion of a few i have in mind. I sometimes go crazy not being able to select what game i would like to play, just thought a tool like this would help people like me with their eternal struggle. Explanation: Develop the 'genre' page further or just a new page called something like "game finder" in the bigbox menu to help you find games. For example to have another submenu inside genre that asks the questions YOU want, which can for example be "years", "star rating" or other metadata your launchbox collect information from. This would fit perfectly if we'd finally get our desired community star rating system (!!) example: Let me know what you think
  18. This is really cool, although the theme im using really only has place for an icon as showed in my first screenshot. Otherwise i would definitly use this method
  19. hey, i'll jump straight into showing my photoshopped image of an example: The image should explain itself but.. Most of us don't use the original controllers for each platform, and even some games like most windows games have very different controllers scheme. So me for example use 3 different controllers for windows games, would be amazing to have an icon and an option in launchbox to set the games to show what controller the game requires, (& perhaps another option to set a desired platform to default a controller) I guess this could also be made into a plugin, doesn't have to be official now that we have plugin support? Just thought i'd share my thoughts, yesturday i went through a few of my ideas & i'll be posting more when i see fit. thanks in adv
  20. wow, looked through my whole Bigbox but totally blacked out about the fact that theres configurable options in the launchbox app too. My bad thanks!
  21. As title says, the clearlogos i have are used as background in my filter options (genres/playmodes/developer etc..) Would be amazing to just be able to use my own folder, or atleast the only Fan-art backgrounds since they're all 720p / 1080p. Really annoying getting a stretched 320x240 clearlogo or screenshot from gameplay (old systems usually) as background. Just wanted to put this out there, would be amazing with a fix. edit: accessible through the priorities menu in "tools>options" inside launchbox.exe
