  1. for some reason "fbalpha_libretro.dll" wasn't working on any CPS2 games but "fbalpha2012_libretro.dll" seems to be doing the job. I prefer using retroarch whenever possible just because of the fact that the controller is already setup in retroarch and retroarch seems to have a lot more shader options than the standalone emulators
  2. hmm in that case is there a single retroarch core that can handle all 3 of those? I am trying to use final burn alpha but they seem to have a separate core for cps1 and cps 2
  3. I am trying to make a single platform called Capcom Arcade that has CPS I, II and III games in it but they use different cores in retroarch. As far as i can tell you can only assign 1 core to a platform unless I am missing something
  4. I did this and everything seems to be working, but the platform theme video option is just the "arcade classics" is there a SNK Neo Geo specific video?
  5. I am trying to import Neo Geo arcade romset, but for some reason if I choose SNK Neo Geo MVS Launchbox will not scrape any boxart or videos or anything, it just imports the roms and thats it. If I choose SNK Neo Geo AES then it will scrape eveything. Everything seems to be working as AES, but it doesnt give me the option to download the correct Platform theme video since its listed as AES and on the side bar i'd prefer it to just say "SNK Neo Geo" without the AES or MVS. Is there a way to fix this?
  6. In my small amount of time with launchbox it is orders of magnitudes easier to set up than hyperspin and looks just as good
  7. Not sure how much help this will be, but i have a parent folder called mame and then inside that folder is all the rom files and all the chds in their own folders named the same as the corresponding rom files. So when I imported the games to launchbox I just picked the mame folder and let it do the rest, seems to have worked out pretty well
  8. some are .T64 and some are .D64
  9. I am having trouble getting Commodore 64 to work. I have imported the romset and set hoxs64 as the default emulator and have -autoload -quickload in the default command line parameters, but when i try to start a game all it does is open the emulator and then nothing else. Once the emulator is open I can manually go to File - Auto Load and select the rom that I am trying to open and it works, but for some reason launchbox is not making it do that part for me. Any help would be appreciated
  10. Thank you, got it sorted out
  11. I want to add AM2R under a platform called PC Games or Windows Games or something similiar, so I created a "PC Games" platform and I tried dragging the AM2R exe file into launchbox but it just gets to the point where I am supposed to choose an emulator and cant go any further. I also tried "Import Windows Games" but it doesnt find AM2R. Any help would be appreciated
  12. Any idea where the music for these comes from? I would love to know if the super metroid songs are available somewhere
  13. Is there a way to make it so that when using this view: and one of these videos are available it will just fill the entire right side of the screen instead of just playing in the small video box? or are these meant for a specific theme / view? sorry if this is a dumb question I am new to launchbox
