Tested this on my arcade cabinet which also uses the same location. Populates the same way except that it actually adds the drive letter to the path and seems to work fine. Full file path instead of the .. but with the drive letter included. 🤷‍♂️

Yes the second pic is how it populates now. It use to do it by using the .. to go back in directory from LB root folder now it just pastes a full file location without telling what drive. Also, I use a mapped network drive. The .. method worked on all drives in any location and on every PC that accesses the drive after I networked it.

Right click, add game in the games window. Its how I mainly do it. Since I only add games mostly one at a time as I find a game I want.

Before when adding a game selecting a file it populated like this: Now it populates like this: Always worked perfect before, Now I have to manually edit every game I add. Pretty annoying. Unless I am missing that there is an option for this?

I am hoping to get help with converting my MSX Snatcher game, which is 4 .dsk files to a single .rom file like all my other games. I found an app called dsk2rom and doing the commands but it doesn't work. Maybe a Windows 11 stripped Command Prompt issue? I don't have to use this app, can be another I just can't find any! And guidance would be appreciated to get me in the right direction.

Well there ya go then, it just started working out of the blue! I didn't change anything. Was just continuing on adding games and all of a sudden started working again. Will keep that in mind if it comes and goes while they do work. Thanks!!!

I to am having issues now out of the blue. I tried clearing the settings file and changing password to just case and numbers. Still can't log in.

Ok well I fixed it to the best I can for Kega Fusion. I ended up using dgVoodoo to update Kega Fusion's video dll and provide few great video options. Now it runs fullscreen and the audio is working. The dgV download provides a little guide link on how to copy the DLLs for Windows DirectX to the KF root folder. ENJOY!!!!!!

Also I wouldn't mind trying a different emulator that does 32X CD. "ares" is the only other one I know of but it as of version 140 it has poor performance and stutters. Regualr Sega CD games run fine. If anyone knows of a diffrent one let me know.

I actually found the commands for it! Using "-scd" pulls the game correctly. I did get rid of "-auto" because you can set it as auto in the emulator. Console options: -sms, -gg, -gen, -md, -32x, -scd, -mcd Now I just need to figure out the Kega Fusion settings to when I go to Fullscreen it doesn't stay tiny and centered and no sound. Also I was told there are ways to make KF run more smoothly on Windows 10 & 11. Anyone know what the settings might be?

What is your LB settings for the emulator? I have non of the boxes checked and no special parameters.

I am using Kega Fusion to to launch SegaCD 32X games likes these: When I run them directly from KF it runs perfectly fine. But through LaunchBox it starts the emulator then crashes. I had the settings (as shown below) a long time but am assuming that maybe it is trying to launch the game as a Genesis game instead of Sega CD. the "-gen" is what I am assuming is the culprit so I wouldn't know how to tell it to run as SegaCD selection when running the game.

Not sure if this effected everyone or if its random or just affected me. Launching games in fullscreen through the shortcuts was working perfectly, but when Windows 11 updated to 24h2, all my shortcuts launched the game in a tiny window in the center of the screen. I had to recreate and replace all the shortcuts and all worked perfectly again. Thought I would blast that incase anyone runs into this issue. Selecting all the games in DBL then right click and create shortcut was fast and easy and then just replacing all the old shortcuts.

I haven't been able to get my laptop to update to 24h2, even after doing Windows Insider program like I did for my PC. But considering my PC was just fine until this update I still think it was this update. I did retry DB-X and had no issues at all. The 100% full screen with stretch is perfect. I am using DOSBox Game Launcher and I didn't have to change anything other then pointing to the new shortcuts to launch the games. Incase anyone having this issue wanted an alternative solution.

My number one way is by System!!! I made all the system banners the actual nostalgic boxes for the system! After that I just do playlists. For me a saved game by each system. And for my son and girlfriend I made their own playlist of games they were interested in playing!

When I got a computer for the first time... these were the most amazing and interactive games at the time! Police Quest (VGA) was my first and boy was I hooked!!!! Loved all the other games too!

I have been using DB 0.74-3. I did try DB-X a while back and loved how it does fullscreen to be 100% (stretch) unlike DB that has a little bit of black bars on the sides. But I wanted to utilize at first was D-Fend Reloaded to track and easily set up games. If DB-X can be used in DBGL I definitely would switch it. Will take a peak.

Man, LB has been so amazing the many years I have had it and been programming and adding to it. It is so hard to think of more cool stuff other than tweaks here or there. All the major things one could wish for gets add. The dev team is amazingly active! Would be cool to see, if possible, animated clear logos 😉

I did do the full reinstall of drivers and before that did clean install. No change. But my windows is now 24h2, and that happens to be when the issues started. I will try to put my laptop on 24h2 and see if same thing happens.

Sorry fixed the res typo. I did try "desktop" and "0x0" and both had same result. Those two as far as I can tell are the same thing, telling DB to be at the desktop resolution. Evan in the forums they use both. The dev refers to 0x0 most of the time. I tried a wipe of the config file in DB. No changes. I would like to avoid using the autoscript since none of my other PCs have an issue with running DB/games. They all run perfect full screen. it is just my PC which prompts me to believe now that is strictly a Windows or nVidia setting problem. Oh and I am running DB Game Launcher and DB portable through mapped drive. So every computer is running the exact same program. Tried on my laptop and son's computer. All working perfectly.

Yes it works as normal. Doesn't fix it going back and forth either.
