Sega Game Gear Micro

GUIDE:
Sega has released 4 handheld micro versions of their classic Game Gear handheld. There is also a 5th, the limited edition White Aleste version.
Each handheld comes with it's own set of games.
The way I've set this up is by doing the following:
- Creating 'Sega Game Gear Micro' as a new platform.
- When creating the platform set scrape as to 'Sega Game Gear'
- Adding at least 1 game to the new platform, otherwise it will disappear if it's left as an empty platform with no games
- Then create the 5 handhelds as playlists, naming them the 5 different colors
- Add them to the new platform by setting Sega Game Gear Micro as Parent
- The main video is intended to fit the Platform menu. The rest of the videos are made for each of the playlists you create; red, black, blue, yellow and white.

The following should be a list of the games included in the 5 different Micros:
Black: Out Run, Puyo Puyo Tsu, Royal Stone, Sonic the Hedgehog
Blue: Baku Baku Animal: Sekai Shiikugakari Senshuken, Gunstar Heroes, Sonic & Tails, Sylvan Tale
Yellow: Nazo Puyo: Arle no Roux, Shining Force, Shining Force II, Shining Force: Final Conflict
Red: Columns, The G.G. Shinobi, Megami Tensei Gaiden: Last Bible, Megami Tensei Gaiden: Last Bible Special
White version:
- Aleste (1988, Master System)
- GG Aleste (1991, Game Gear)
- GG Aleste 2 (1993, Game Gear)
- Powerstrike II (1993, Master System)
- GG Aleste 3 (Limited Edition Game Gear Micro, not likely to find this game as rom-file at the moment)

This worked perfectly! I'm so grateful, I'd never found that myself.
If anyone else needs to know, I added this in my 'Load State' tab in my Mupen64Plus emulator settings:
Send {F7} -
Hi guys,
I'm using Mupen64Plus-gui to run N64, and the emulator has Save State as F5 by default.
Is there a way to let the new Launchbox pause menu know that save state is a possibility?
I only get resume and exit when I trigger the menu.

If your collection includes obscure systems like CD32 and CDTV, and newer games for PS2 and Xbox 360, you will have to add the games manually.
A few PS1 and GameCube games are missing, examples are Charlies Angels and Planet of The Apes.
Other than that, you should be off to a good start.)

Sega Genesis / Megadrive Mini is a 2019 piece of SEGA hardware, with 42 games included. This is the platform video for your Launchbox.
The video is a shortend version of the Japanese commercial, so the console in the video is called Megadrive, and not Genesis.

Darius and Tetris needs a bit of work. I added Darius from Arcade to my playlist. Then I added the Japanese Mega Drive release of Tetris to the playlist.

- Enjoy the legend, from oldest to newest game in your collection. See where your heroes have been throughout the years, and how they’ve evolved.

This is part of the “Legend of” playlist-series.
Use auto-populate to fill your list.Or challenge yourself by adding the games where the heroes are NOT featured in the title.
Examples?- Mario is the referees in ‘Tennis’ and ‘Punch-out!!’ on the Nintendo Entertainment System.
- Mario is a playable character in ‘SSX on Tour’ and ‘NBA Street V3’ on GameCube.
- Link is a playable character in ‘SoulCalibur II’ on GameCube.
- Donkey Kong is a playable character in series like ‘Mario Kart’ and ‘Smash Bros’.

Intended use:- Create a playlist named 'The Legend of Street Fighter'
- Add every game in your collection that features Street Fighter, Ryu, Ken, etc.
- Sort the games on the list as “Release Date Year”
- Enjoy the legend, from oldest to newest game in your collection. See where your heroes have been throughout the years, and how they’ve evolved.

This is part of the “Legend of” playlist-series.
Use auto-populate to fill your list.Or challenge yourself by adding the games where the heroes are NOT featured in the title.
Examples?- Mario is the referees in ‘Tennis’ and ‘Punch-out!!’ on the Nintendo Entertainment System.
- Mario is a playable character in ‘SSX on Tour’ and ‘NBA Street V3’ on GameCube.
- Link is a playable character in ‘SoulCalibur II’ on GameCube.
- Donkey Kong is a playable character in series like ‘Mario Kart’ and ‘Smash Bros’.
- Street Fighter characters are not only featured in games titled ‘Street Fighter’. Don’t forget ‘Marvel Vs. Capcom’ or ‘Super Puzzle Fighter II’.
- Should a Jumpman game be considered a Super Mario game…?
- Etc.
You decide how including your ‘Legend’ should be.
