  1. Just did a quick test, and it definitely checks for compatible ROMs, but having the red/green (or some visual indicator) would be great to know, so you could source the right ROM.
  2. Do the RetroAchievments badge scans check for compatible ROM availability and compatibility, or does it just check if the game has Achievements and we have to manually ensure we have the correct ROM? If not, it would be amazing if there was an option to have a red badge if there are cheevos, but your ROM is incorrect, and a green badge if you have the correct ROM.
  3. The same thing is happening on my RP3+. Import games, select location, reads games, scans folder, finishes...dumps to the home screen. Every time. One way around this is exporting from a PC install to an Android, but I also get crashes when scrolling games, so not sure what may be the issue.
  4. I sincerely wish I had the experience needed to apply, if not solely to have another Jason Carr working on Launchbox 😅 As it currently stands, I'm merely a pup in the C# world
  5. Any way to delete multiple categories at once? I've been playing around with arcade platforms, and have a ton of empty categories I'd like to remove. Any way to delete them or is there an 'delete empty category' option?
  6. Yeah, there doesn't seem to be much rhyme or reason to it, so curious what methods were used. Great to have some more C64 videos, just a bummer all the dupes mixed in under incorrect names.
  7. Unfortunately, there is a lot wrong with this upload. You have the same video for many different games with similar names. For example, You use the same video for Blood Brothers, Blood Money, Blood Valley, and Blood. I'm not sure what method you used to create these, but there's probably easily half of them that are wrong. If you look at the folder content as thumbnails, you can see how many entries have the same video as the game alphabetically next to it. Your efforts are definitely appreciated, but you might want to check your method and output. Here's just a small selection to show what I am referring to.
  8. @Zombeaver I'd like to personally say THANK YOU for your hard work on this. Seems of late you've been getting a lot of "this doesn't work" etc etc posts from people forgetting this is something they are getting FOR FREE and they expect Geek Squad White Glove level support to hold their hands through the process. READ SOME DAMN INSTRUCTIONS once in a while. Just wanted to break up the monotony with some gratefulness. Awesome work! Keep it up and again, THANK YOU!
  9. I feel like I should apply for something so there are 2 'Jason Carr's on the team 😅
  10. Or you could just get their lifetime pass, which is reasonable compared to subscriptions prices, in my opinion. Pretty much par for the course these days to offer a subscription you will never be reminded of - just like gym memberships. You think it's the power lift dudes keeping the lights on? Nope - it's the many couch surfers auto-paying and never going in lol
  11. Fantastic work! I'm really shocked how few video snaps are available at EmuMovies for C64. I noticed this when I was manually adding a few that were missed due to the naming convention. I mentioned a request for Launchbox to add a fuzzy search option that allows linking to a game if the name isn't a perfect match, but not sure if or when that will happen. I'm going to have to look into contributing videos to get the ball rolling with remedying the lack of content.
  12. Not sure if it's a new API issue from EmuMovies, or a change in how it's handled in Launchbox, but I am getting spotty use when it comes to downloading media. Sometimes when scraping it will say EmuMovies is not configured, so I will have to back out, go into the settings, and hit Test Connection (my details are already still populated in User and PW. It tells me connection works, so I try again and it works as intended. sometimes will keep working through other scrapes, but then at some point it will revert back to saying it's not configured and I'll have to repeat the process. Maybe the API times out at a certain point? I'm on the latest (non-beta) version and full support for both Launchbox and EmuMovies. Anyone else seeing this?
  13. I did a search of the forums and didn't find any info on this. Are there log files for any of the import functions? I am importing a system, and I want to be able to save the list of files that time out on the image/video download so I can investigate and fix. At the very least, can you implement the ability to export the results to a TXT file, or allow select all and copy? From one Jason Carr to another - thanks!
