  1. I really enjoy 'crt-geom-deluxe' for Mame, I do use a "hacked" version of this shader; someone tweaked some settings so you can adjust the scanlines to be less visible. Now for RetroArch you can already adjust the scanlines within crt-geom but this version does not have the blooming/glow effect the deluxe variant has, does anyone know if there is a crt-geom-deluxe version for RetroArch? Or other tips? I like to be able to have curvature, round edges, adjustable scanline visibility and a blooming effect which I find in this shader. Thanks for any advise on this matter.
  2. Taking on Real Bout Fatal Fury, popular game but no high res English version available, strange enough... But behold the resurrection lol Progress, Japanese text removed with clone/stamp tool (where would we be without it), graphics cleaned up, next adding English text and translate/reconstruct other side of instructions flyer.
  3. Remade result, couldn't remove the japanese text in the flyer image part and not 100% sure if the controls in the most below row are 100% exact but it's another first timer for the community so feel free to use.
  4. Next up is reconstruction and translation of Ragnagard, this will be a bit hard, no high res scans available but the layout looks a bit like Pleasure Goal (also by Saurus) so it can become a higher res reconstruction for one side of the instruction flyer (maybe both sides), further more parts can be used from high quality flyer scans. This can take a while. Reference material in highest res available

  7. Yeah glad I wasnt the only one. Btw @Robin55 i'm a bit confused about some of your entries, i'm only modding for a few months still but I get confused when you upload some new games for the arcade section, mostly when you search those entiries you'll see them in the Naomi platform and where probably removed from arcade to naomi in the past, is it valid to upload them for both platforms or do they want them seperately? I don't know if I should reject or accept these.

Don't know if it matters but I want to mention it if it would be of any help; when I was moderating earlier today there was this entry for a new game, a game that makes fun of edutainment games or something, the weird thing was it had weird symbols (could be asian symbols?) floating above or below the english description, never saw something like this before and after I pressed "skip" (because of the errors in the description, didnt knew what to do with it) the error message came, could those weird symbols have been the cause that messed with the database, or just a coincedence?

  10. Pulstar instruction flyer, English version only available in lower resolution, while Japanese version has high resolution. Taking that version and remake text and such. Source lower quality English version.Progress of right side flyer, emptied japanese text. Text remade for better readability and higher resolution result, feel free to use as usual.
  11. Prehistoric Isle 2 missing instruction flyer reconstruction, quality of result isn't very high but it's something though. Main Source Result using images from other flyers as well and recreation of parts, feel free to use.

  14. Last progress, next up is release of finished result. Added Chomp Chomp and by coincidence saw a super-pac bezel where the details above the heads of zapped ghosts where, I figured it where some cartoon expressions but they where score points. All that's left is the ghosts on the upper side and the credits text below.

Ah okay, I don't find it hard to control much with the D-pad but it does feel a bit weird (but also typical for the series) in that it'll move forward automatically but with a bit of getting used to you'll adjust to it, if you want to take the time for it that is, it is quite a nice game though I do recommend it, maybe you'll want to try it out when @Orionsangel made a realistic bezel out of it?
  18. I'm afraid I don't understand (maybe because of me being dutch :D) but Pac-Man is a 4 way game isn't it? I mean it does not use diagonals, or do you mean when forced to use an 8 way joystick it messes with the precision of D-pad controls? I switch to D-pad function with games like this.
  19. Ps I don't have a lot of time to play the games but I just played Chomp Chomp and it's a great little game, quite addictive and more fun than the original IMHO, not easy though, thanks for pointing it out @Orionsangel
