I am experiencing a recurrence of an issue I had a few years ago and documented in this post. The proxy opens when I try to launch a game, but either Steam immediately crashed and I have to force close LaunchBox because it stops responding, or LaunchBox immediately crashes. I only use LB, not BB. I've tried deleting the plugin completely and redownloading, but I still get the same behavior. I'm not sure what setting I have that might be causing this. Does it matter if my Steam installation is on a different drive than LaunchBox? The only entries in the debug log say: [Warning] [Config] [LoadConfigOrDefaults] - The config file was not found. Loading defaults. Thank you.

The only option I am ever provided is Add New Images to LaunchBox Games Database. Does anyone know why that might be? This happens when I choose any game, including one that is not yet in the database. -
So maybe it wasn't finding it because it had just been added and approved? I was thinking that might be the case. The scraper is still not finding it for me, but I haven't received the metadata update yet. I suspect it will work for me later today or tomorrow. Thank you.

I cannot get Launchbox to find this Windows game in the database: https://gamesdb.launchbox-app.com/games/details/106365 I search by name, but the results are for games with the same name on different platforms: Thoughts? I would update the XML manually, but I'm not sure how to find the ID of that game in the database.

Hi there, I just got the plugin today and I am struggling to get it to work. When I try to launch a game, Steam crashes within a second, and I have to force quite LaunchBox because it gets stuck. I've read through this thread, the readme, and the debug log, but I'm not finding what I might be doing wrong. Any thoughts? LaunchBox version I am using is 8.6 beta 14 Steam is current and non-beta. Thank you. EDIT: I've also noticed that the xml file doesn't seem to be working as expected. I tried launching games from a few different platforms, but the entries aren't being added. To add to this: I've recently tried out Parsec as well, and I was able to successfully play co-op with a friend who was in another town. It set up his controller to work with my PC with Bigbox/Retroarch recognized. We played a complete playthrough of Sunset Riders and also played a bit of Salt & Sanctuary, He said he noticed no lag or quality issues. I suspect there is at least a LITTLE BIT of input lag, but both of those games require moderately fast reactions and he seemed to be playing just fine.
