Is there way, or can it be added...some exclusion logic for auto-generated playlists? The issue is, for example I setup a playlist of Mario Games. So I set the inclusion logic to [Title contains Mario]. It captures all the Mario games, but it also captures things like Mario Andretti Racing, etc. I know I can manually delete these but it makes the playlist static at that point and I would like to keep the playlist dynamic. Some very simple exclusion capability would fix this. Thx...Piper

So, I'm trying now to use the Genre & Collections addons and having some trouble. The directions seem to indicate that the Genre Addons zip and Collections addons zips should be unzipped into the Unified Refried themes folder. This adds new folders in the images & views folders. Everything seems to go ok but when I boot into BB and go into a Genre or Collection playlist, it just shows the regular theme platform art for the given game, it's not using any of the addon assets. For instance, I have a Genre called Fighting Games so from the Genres addon I would expect to see this artwork... Reading through the comments there is some conflicting info, it mentions unzipping the addons in the base LB/Themes folder and then when in a playlist, select that Theme but this doesn't work either I just get a black screen with the game artwork Can somebody who has used these addons please comment on how these are to be setup and used? Thanks...Piper

Were themed genre or collection vids made for this theme? There are plenty of others but it would keep looking stellar with vids of the same style.

So I'm using Unified Refried. It's perfect for my setup. I have some platforms that are for mods & hacks. The view I use is Vertical Wheel 3. I like this one bc it displays box art and a spinning disc. The issue with it is, it displays Community Star Ratings which ofc mods & hacks don't have. I would like instead to display just Star Ratings for my mods & hacks platforms. So I can do this by changing... <Binding Path="ActiveGame.CommunityStarRating" /> to <Binding Path="ActiveGame.StarRating" /> ...and it works great. The issue is that I use this same view for my regular platforms and so it doesn't show the Community Star Ratings for those. So, what I want to do is either... Modify this view xaml so that it will show Community Star Ratings if available, or if N/A then show Star Ratings. or just make a copy of this view and just change it in the copy and have my mods & hacks use the modified view (I have separate views for platforms on). I tried to make a copy of the view and just named it Wheel5GamesView.xaml with the modification but it doesn't show up in the select view dialog and I just don't know enough about theme design to know what's going on. Anyone can help a brutha out with what to do here? Thx....Piper

I notice there is no "star raring" for hacks/modes/etc even if I add my own ratings. It looks like the theme is using community star ratings based on this line in the xaml... <Binding Path="ActiveGame.CommunityStarRating" /> Is there a way to use community star ratings if available or if n/a use user/personal ratings? Piper

Holy crap, I installed this theme on my new "console killer" build and it is literally perfect! Thank you so much for this. I have one question...I have a platform called Quake Mods. I figured out I can pick the background I like and rename it for this platform and same with the video border. I noticed that you did a Doom Hacks & Mods, you didn't happen to do a Quake Hacks & Mods video border did you? If not would it be possible to get the template for the video backgrounds so I could wip one up? Either way, woowwww....thank you!!! Piper

I'm on 12.6 and all of a sudden I have 2 platforms that are borked up in BB. It's my PS2 and TP platforms that only show 1 game now, won't scroll, launch, etc. All other platforms are OK. everything including these 2 platforms launch games fine from LB. what should I be looking for to fix?

ahh ok, that's a good little trick to know. i'm curious though I thought the dmddevice.ini was just for separate backglass, not for dmd over the top on a single screen like i'm doing...but maybe i was mistaken about that. -

Hi, yes it's a 220 set. it's just a few hundred games hand picked so i've just stayed with that. i did for shits & giggles grab the latest 238 mame and tried and still had audio stutter. ive tried d3d, opengl & auto on vid backend and all stutter. it's not terrible but def noticeable. it's just that it's on these little nothing games that it's doing it. typically audio stutter can mean the cpu is struggling but we're talking pacman and digdug lol. i run them via lb/bb, just launching direct from mame to work this kink out. -

installed latest nvidia drivers & did all windows updates...issue persists. nothing other than ledblinky, bluetooth and nvidia running in task bar. checked task manager, don't see anything out of the ordinary but there's a lot of stuff so dunno.. -

nahimic is no where on my system, even did a registry search. so I downloaded a fresh copy of my same mame (220) and made no changes other than setting a rom directory...sound stuttering is still there....now i'm baffled. -

Hmm yea I'm aware of that issue. I have them off. The weird thing is the same table will sometimes have the dmd on top & sometimes not. Makes me thing it's a timing issue... -

I've been running the same MAME (0.220) since it came out and now for some reason I am getting audio lag in all games. It's like the audio stalls/stutters/repeats for a second or so as the game as played. I'm certain it's not a CPU issue as I have a 5600G and this is happening on nothing games like pacman, digdug, etc. Any ideas/suggestions are welcome. Thx...Piper

Looking for any clues on how to fix this. So I have VPX setup as an emulator and all tables are launching fine, fullscreen, working and exit button works. The issue I'm having is that if I launch any table via LB/BB, the playfield is over the DMD (I'm running all on 1 screen). I can Alt+Tab and get to the DMD but ofc I want to have the DMD show on top automagically. If I launch any table directly via VP, the DMD is on top like it is supposed to be so I'm thinking it's just a LB/BB timing thing. I feel like I had this solved when I first added VPX as an emulator but it has re-reared it's ugly head. Any assistance is appreciated. Update: Ok, so it appears to be sporadic. Sometimes the DMD will show in front, sometimes it won't when launched via LB/BB. Piper
