Hmm ok so assuming it's in this bit of code... <Trigger Property="IsLeftOfSelected" Value="True"> <Setter Property="RotationAxis" Value="0,0,0"/> <Setter Property="RotationAngle" Value="0"/> </Trigger> ...so you think I'd need to add 2 additional like [Setter Property="LookDirection"] & [Setter Property="LookPosition"] & play around with those values until it looks right maybe?
  2. I'm still very new to theme dev & have done a couple with CTC but trying to accomplish something with one I'm working on now. Basically it's a horizontal "coverflow" type theme for a specific cabinet. I see how to curve the wheel up or down (y-axis i think) but what i'm trying to do is slightly curve the wheel in what I would call the "z-axis" so back into the screen. So imagine if you're looking at an earth globe, the wheel would wrap around the equator. I actually think the theme engine uses the term z-axis for rotational axis of the wheel items though so that might not be the correct term. Here's a screenshot of what I'm basically trying to accomplish. You can see the "selected" item is flat but the items to the left & right seem to rotate around a curve back into the screen... If any theme gurus can help with code on this, I would need specific code as I don't think CTC offers anything like this as far as I can see and I don't understand all this just yet...still learning. C-Beats mentioned on discord that it might be easier to "use the current curve settings, then just rotate the image and camera to look at it from the appropriate angle" but I haven't been able to find how to do that.   8. A follow-on to my original VROOM theme. VROOM2 is a theme for my racing rig/cabinet which uses the steering wheel for navigation and gas/brake for select/back. I removed all the info and controls images from the original VROOM because I'm going to make a game launch theme that shows controls per game. VROOM2 only uses 3 media assets...a gameplay video, clearlogo and fanart so it's fairly peppy. I created the theme in CTC. It is based off of a WIP theme that was put on the forums quite a while back by mgerety called Starting Line. I re-used assets from his theme, added some new assets & animations and built VROOM2.   13. Working on a BB theme & got all the difficult stuff working but for some reason I can't get a simple text box to display the game name. I just have it set for metadata - title. It's on top of everything else so i'm sure it's something simple but any suggestions are appreciated.
  14. My arcade pedestal has a rotating monitor, so I wanted to gather up a definitive list of the Arcade Vertical Shooters to play. This is what I came up with. I think I've covered everything that is currently playable, but of course with this hobby nothing is ever "finished." I found a bunch of shooters that I never even knew existed, so I figured I'd share the list in case it helps anyone. All games on this list are playable. A couple notes on the list... * Games must be currently in a "playable" state via one of the emulators (listed below). * I did not include the gallery shooters (Galaga, etc). There are so many of those that I went ahead and peeled them out to their own list. * I did include the diagonal shooters (Zaxxon, etc) on this list. There are only a few of them, and they have to go somewhere. If I find enough of them in my hunt then I might peel them out to their own list since they have a slightly different play style. * I also included a few of the multi-directional shooters, but only if they still have a primary focus on vertical action, since they play like a vertical shooter. * There are a few games that could probably be considered 3rd-person shooters, but again if they have a similar play style to vertical shooters then I've included them. Emulators used: Arcade Classics = MAME (0.256) Sega Model 2 = Model 2 Emulator Sega Naomi = Flycast TeknoParrot = TeknoParrot (well...yeah...) I'm using the fabulous Neon Deluxe Arcade theme. These are the Arcade Vertical Shooters only, I might try to add some console-exclusive titles later...still debating that. I ended up with a little over 300 games in the list. Hope it helps people find shooters they maybe weren't aware of. Let me know what you think, and if I've missed anything!!

  18. Yea edit the xml. Replace All "W:\" with whatever your drive is. Save copy of xml first & only do it with LB closed.
  19. I have 4 installs. 3 are win10 & 1 is win11. I only use shell on 2 of them but 1 is win10 & 1 is win11. Win11 has some weird quirks in general. It kept muting audio on emulators after I would exit a game. Crap like that, that makes no sense.
  20. Quick question on this. Does it only compare what files you alrdy have & dl the new set version of those only? I keep a manicured mame set of about 500 games & don't want anything else, just the ability to update those 500ish to the new set.
  21. hmm ok. not sure then. i have 2 instances of sinden & ucr starting at boot and no issues. are you sure bb is freezing up or is it just not active? if bb isn't active it appears to be frozen. if you alt+tab is bb ok then? if so, you have something stealing focus.
  22. Are you setting the Sinden sw to as a startup app within LB or in windows startup apps? Win + R type shell:startup Is anything in there?
  23. Yea you can do bat files like monk said or just put the map/mod parameters in the game launch parameters (which is what I do). Either way is fine. Let me know if you need examples.

  25. Wow those look great 👍. I'm doing bezels for vertical games on a vertical monitor now. Question how did you get the light behind the marquee effect? I can't seem to get any lighting effects that mimic that well.
