  1. Thanks! I was able to get it OK now. I imported the full set as NA 2 players, and pictures started showing up in my secondary monitor. Man, after the 5.5 update this is looking GORGEOUS!
  2. Thanks for the quick response. To test if my installation was screwed up, I just installed Launchbox from scratch to my "C:" drive. I imported the full MAME romset, latest version, and downloaded just one arcade marquee so the app could create the needed folders. I copied your marquees to the newly created "Arcade - Marquee" folder under the Images folder, and unfortunately marquees are not detected by Big Box. I tried refreshing the image cache too, and only "Arcade - Marquee" is selected as marquee preference in the main Launchbox app. Maybe some recent update changed Launchbox's behavior and it does not detect rom naming convention anymore?
  3. Thank you for the awesome marquee collection! Maybe you can tell me why, but I reinstalled Windows, Launchbox, etc. and now Launchbox ceased to "see" your marquees in the "Arcade - Marquees" directory. I did a scan for files and Launchbox finds the files are "not in use". Do you know if there is any extra step to make Launchbox use the marquees with the rom names instead of its usual naming convention?
  4. 2024, still an issue. Games are missing if one skips "unplayable games". If we keep them, all sorts of nonsense is imported like keyboards and printers.
  5. Great, thanks for that. I will import everything with "World" and "4 players" now. Much appreciated!
  6. I think it's because Launchbox when scrapping the roms uses "tmht22pe" instead of "tmnt2": I changed this to "tmnt2" and now the marquee is shown in Big Box. So... I imported the full MAME romset with "World" as a priority and that made most of the marquees match the rom names we have in the jpg files. However, there are a few exceptions like this one. I wonder how should I import the full romset to avoid this.
  7. Well, it worked now. I had to import the MAME merged romset in Launchbox with "World" region priority. If I use "North America" Big Box does not use the marquees with the generic rom name (probably sees "finalfightu" even when I have that folder inside the main "ffight.zip" file). Finally! Thank you so much for your help and time. Edit: Even when importing the romset with "World" priority, I see some games for which Big Box does not show the marquee. For instance, tmnt2. I will have to figure out why.
  8. Thank you. I have refreshed the images but that's not it. My MAME romset is the full romset, with merged files, so inside ffight.zip I also have the other versions, do you import merged sets?
  9. Hello, it's me again I did a full install from scratch because I was getting frustrated and I still do not see the marquees in Big Box for some games. For instance, Final Fight. I have the "ffight.jpg" image in the "Arcade - Marquees" folder but Big Box does not show it. It does for other games with your naming convention, so I have no clue what may be going on. Some games show your marquees, others do not. Maybe there's something going on with Launchbox itself?
  10. Thank you for your help, I scrapped a new romset, copied these and they started showing up. Weirdness. Some I had to remove the scrapped version of the marquee since yours has better quality. This is awesome, thanks again!
  11. Thank you. For marquee priority I only have "Arcade - Marquee", nothing else is selected. If I delete clear logos and the rest of images the app does not even go and look for "3wonders.jpg". I drop your marquee in the "Arcade - Marquees" folder, but I get no picture. "3wonders.jpg" is there but it seems the system does not associate it by the rom name, only something like "Three Wonders-01.png" works.
  12. Thank you for replying. Sorry about being a noob, but let me ask you: how should I import an arcade set into Launchbox now, if I want to have only these marquees and none of the scrapped stuff? I just removed my whole collection and imported it a couple of times but had no luck, Big Box still defaults to clear logo pictures for the games it does not recognize, as in my "Three Wonders" example.
  13. I downloaded this and the quality of the marquees is outstanding. I have an issue, though. When I deleted all my old marquees and copied these, Launchbox seems to recognize just a few games and then defaults to the clear logo picture for most games. I checked for instance "Three Wonders" and the picture that Launchbox creates when scrapping is not named after the rom file name (it's something like "Three Wonders-01.png"), it just doesn't see "3wonders.jpg" as the same game. Any tips on how to solve this or import my roms so these marquees are applied without much hassle?
  14. Yet the Swanstation core is there to download inside Retroarch and gives me 60 fps while Duckstation does not.
  15. Hello! I noticed the Swanstation core works great to me but Duckstation not so much. Would it be possible to add it in Launchbox's Retroarch core selection for Playstation?
