Ha ha ha, Yes that would be funny in a very stupid way. I can't anything wrong, I must have checked the location of the A7800 exe file 150 times (just to make sure) I'm so low on ideas that i even checked my anti virus.
-
Games which are not Homebrews runs just fine (with other emulators). A7800 won't run anything. I've been stuck with this weird MAME problem for months (pretty frustrating)
-
Yes the capitol B is present in my game directory and also in the rompath in the ini.
-
Sorry if it sounds stupid. But what do you exactly mean?? If you mean directly from A7800 itself, It works just fine.
-
Thank's for all your inputs, But it will simply not work ????? It was already set to auto, Only difference was that window was set to 1 instead of 0 (changing it didn't do anything). The rom path should be flawless as it's copied directly from the end directory where the games are located (can't see anything missing) Have all my emulation stuff on the same external HDD. Is there any way to read that message that briefly pops up when trying to launch a game from Launchbox??, It says something (But what???)
-
Allrighty, I'm not so much into ini file configurations. But it dosn't work. And the command line. But now i get 2 black windows that briefly pops up instead of 1, When trying to launch the game from Launchbox.
-
we are not talking about bios files, Are we?? Of course i also pasted the command as you said.
-
Hmmm, I still can't get it to work I changed the rompath in a7800.ini to this which is the path to my 7800 games in Launchbox

So you simply had to use the only emu i hadn't tried, Yes it works with A7800 ? Could i ask you for a little guidance on how to set it up with Launchbox?, I'm having problems with getting MAME to work on Launchbox (for a while actually). Are there some special setting i need to make?, I can boot games from MAME if i go through the directories and do it manually, But doing the ordinary set up with Launchbox it's not loading anything. Thank's for replying.

Hi guys. I'm having some trouble getting Atari 7800 homebrews to boot on any emulator i've tried?, At the moment i'm trying to get a homebrew game called Draker quest or Draker quest II to boot on Prosystem, Retroarch, Mess, Emu7800 or MAME. No matter which one i chose, It won't boot the game. i noticed that it is much larger in size than other 7800 titles, Could it have anything to do with that?

Sorry don't mind me. After hours of search i finally found a topic about it. CTRL + R ? Thank's for watching.

Hi guys. I simply have to ask this question?, How in the bloody earth do you switch between games on roms that holds more than 1 game?. Is it even possible? Regards.

Hi guys. I had some fine looking 3b box cover art for my entire Atari Lynx collection, But now i can't get them to show up when editing them??? I had a problem with Mednafen and chose Retroarch to handle the emulation instead, After i imported the roms again the 3d covers wer'e all gone and each name of the games had an extension of -1-1 like in Awesome golf-1-1 (Does the 1-1 mean something???). Tried importing them again but no luck!! still no image and still the same 1-1 in each of games name??, I then decided to manually edit them but everytime i go in under Atari lynx and select the 3d box image, It dosn't show up and another image is chosen instead. Whats more is it also seems to dissapear after trying to select them the 1st time, Could anyone tell me where to find the 3d box images for Atari lynx?? so i can make a folder for them and just manually add them that way
-
Thank's for taking your time. I gave up and are now using Mednafen's handy/beetle core through retroarch (which works brilliant). I couldn't even get The Mednafen stand-alone to work by downloading it agan, Really don't know what's wrong.
-
I was wondering if it had anything to do with the path in one of the XML files under data that is not correctly set???, If it is i could use a little guidance on where to edit it, Just so i don't screw anything up.

Hi guys. The first time i set up mednafen in Launchbox it worked fine, It's been awhile but now i can't launch a game through it when double clicking an image in Launchbox????? I can launch the games through mednafen itself, But not through Launchbox????. I tried to reimport the roms, Delete the emulator and the platform in launchbox and then reimport them again, Of course i also set the application patch but nothing seems to work???? I can launch them manually by dragging the rom to mednafen executable, But clicking a game icon in Launchbox does nothing??? I'm all out of ideas?? Edit : It's Atari Lynx roms i'm having a problem with (sorry forgot to mention that)

Yeah, I've also tried the A7800 standalone and couldn't even get it to boot. So far it seems that only Retroarch's 7800 core is able too boot the game (Sadly it has no light-gun support) or at least i don't think it has.

Hi guys. Today the topic is "ATARI 7800" I'm at the moment trying to get controls working for the Atari 7800 game M>eltdown, And apparently this game needs light-gun controls. I already got the game Barnyard blaster working with light-gun controls by using Emu7800, But sadly it seems that this emulator can't boot Meltdown??. Are there any other 7800 emu's with light-gun support?, I tried Fiddling with retroarch but i don't think the prosystem core supports that (Or does it???) Thank's for all the great support so far.

No sweat, Glad i was finally able to help someone out Normally i'm the one with the questions. Altirra is by far the nest 5200 emulator but there's still juuust 2 minor things i would love it to have. A way to map a exit command to my controller, And a way to manually name the profiles for my joystick configurations. There are some of the games than handles very different from the normal control setup, So far i have an entirely different control setup for miniature golf and space dungeon which requires an extra setup of the analog stick in port 2. Yeah yeah (I'm probably a little weird)

Yeah i'm on win 10 and totally missed it, I think i'm used to things getting stored under documents
-
Ah nice nice!! I see the kat5200.log now appearing in the main directory for Kat5200 Learned something, AGAIN!!
-
Ah forgot about the whole hidden files thing and turned my attention towards the windows registry. Thank's for quick assistence and putting me back on the right track.

Hi guys and sorry if i'm posting to much. I have a new problem (Surprise surprise), Ehhh by mistake i mapped Kat5200's esc key to a controller button that does not respond when pressed. This does that i'm not able to access the menu of Kat5200 and reconfigure input. When i double click a game in Launchbox or just manually click the application it boots directly into the game with no option to enter the emu inerface (esc does nothing) and i can't find any other way to access it. I deleted the emu from launchbox and the emu itself, But after downloading it again it still does the same thing??, How on earth do i reset it??, And where does it store it's settings.
-
Ahh that i can help you with. First of all make sure you download the newest version 3.10, Many games do not require to be mapped anymore (But there's still some indeed). When you boot a game and selected the mapper, Just select "save firmware" and then select "save cartridge". You can save in a new location or just overwrite the cartridge, After this it should boot directly next time you load it.
