  1. I have 1300 nes roms, about 900 Atari 2600/5200/7800 roms, 1983 gba roms (Needs to be configured and sorted), 397 game gear roms and 71 atari lynx roms. But it's only the beginning
  2. Hi again. There was a topic where someone mentioned to change fullscreen to 1 in the configure file for VBA-M, But i can't find a line named fullcreen anywhere in the ini file?, Closest is "lastfullscreen=11" which didn't change anything. Also tried countless of text entries in the command line parameter including the one from launchbox's own topic -f -4 eehhhh+ including the extensions like .zip, .gba and so on. My best progress was not getting any error messages when just writing .zip (It just prompted me with a nice little black screen).
  3. Hi there. I'm at the moment configuring my Gameboy advance roms in Launchbox and trying to get them to boot directly and in fullscreen by double-clicking on them. I had a look at the command line parameter for all platforms topic, But it didn't make any sense to me?. I've already had help with my nes roms through Mesen which was apparently "%romfile% -fullscreen". Is there some specific formula to it or is it different from each platform, If anyone could teach me a bit on it i would really appreciate it. I'm trying to set them up through Visualboyadvance M.
  4. Thank's for the heads up. I just realised that i need a more structured set of Nintendo roms, I have the no-intro sets for Atari 2600/5200/7800 and Lynx and that was so much easier. Regards.
  5. Could be the problem. Yes many of them have funky names, Some of them have 1 name before importing and a different one after. I have too many obscure roms.
  6. I don't know, Maybe i'm doing it wrong?? Let's say i add a game folder and emulator + importing images from the database (In this case for Nintendo roms), After importing and saving is done i have about 30% of them with no images. If i right click on them and select edit there are in many cases already added 1,2,3 or maybe even 5 to 10 different images (but they don't appear in the Launchbox UI), Only if i remove all of them and add my own, It will appear.
  7. Allright I might be downloading to much metadata?, I don't downlad emumovies cause it will suck up to much storage on my external HDD (I should probably buy one on 12TB in the nearest future) BTW i'm also experiencing that Launchbox won't recognise a lot of the images it downloads as game covers when i try to add those manually. Mostly i have to make a homemade cover and add it myself before it shows up. Regards.
  8. Hi. Just wanted to ask if it's normal for Lunchbox to use 2 minutes on saving a single tiny rom?, Importing the rom is quick but saving it is very slow. Sorry but i'm very nit-picky and i have 1200 roms to test including japanese roms, Finding translations for them and translate each name to English, Test duplicates if they're the same, Deleting duplicates and so on. With saving so slow it will take way to much time.
  9. He he, Thought so. I will ask Sour about it then. Now it's time to check my 1200 NES roms Regards.
  10. Thank's a lot, That did the job. Still getting error messages though. Do you have any idea what this means? (attached the error report).
  11. Yes i did, But i solved it by contacting him on github. Apparently i was the 3rd person this week with this issue, So he made a fix for 4K displays and now it's almost fullscreen (I can live with that) But now i have adifferent issue, When i start the emulator it's in some kind of frozen mode and needs me to double click in the window before it wakes up. I also get some some error messages from Mesen itself?, But hey!! it works. Ha ha ha i almost forgot my 2nd question which no one has answered yet!!, Is there some way i can configure lunchbox to show the full name of my games (If the names are to long it just ......). Or do i need to use the "Show details" option. Regards.
  12. Hi and thank's for answering. I guess i'm just used to get internal resolution in fullscreen when using FCEUX, And with the video filters that comes with Mesen it will not be that bad i'll guess. It will not be anazing but still pretty decent, Too bad it's not implemented in Mesen. Will Retroarch work just as good as Mesen?, And are the ines mapping just as good? (That's why i replaced it with FCEUX). Regards.
  13. Hi everyone. I just downloaded the newest version of mesen because i read it was the best and most accurate emulator out there (Better than FCEUX). But i'm having problems getting the internal resolution to fit my notebooks 17:3 inch screen which is a high dpi 3840x2160 resolution screen. I tried to override the dpi settings in the mesen.exe application under compatibility (But that didn't change anything)), Tried all the video aspect settings in the emulator but i can't get it to fill out a normal 1920x1080 (16:9) format. I could really use a little help here. Thanks and regards.

    Game names?

How do i configure the UI on launchbox to show the full name of the games. I know you can use show details but it would be nicer not having to do that.
  15. Ok that's allright, i'll just use the bulk editor when i need to configure something. Sleep well later (Nearly 1am in my country).
  16. Yes!!, That was the version i used. I found an easier solution by using Mednaffe as a frontend for Mednafen, And WOW!! that was so much more simple (And everything is now configured exactly as i wanted). Just one more question, Is it possible to make 2 application paths to use when i right-click on a rom (1 for mednaffe and 1 for mednafen) In case i need to configure something with Mednaffe.
  17. Allright, Up until now i've just made some simple settings by using the option menu with F1. I can boot it with no problems and my controller also works fine, It's just that it boots up in fullscreen sideways and it would be nice if i could rotate it and get a wider screen (It's very narrow). I also tried the Handy emulator, But it really likes to crash when choosing different fullscreen modes and now it has come to the point where it crashes every time i try to boot a game with it. Wish i had some more sparetime. Thank's for the reply.
  18. I finally got Atari Lynx working with Mednafen, But something tells me that this program is made for DOS nerds :). Everything is working fine and already learned some commands and got my xbox one controller set up, But there are 2 minor things i'll need a little help with. 1. I can't get a horizontal fullscreen on my 3840x2160 (16:9) screen resolution, Only a vertical fullscreen (Almost fullscreen), So how do i stretch the window after rotating it?, It's in vertical when i launch a game. 2. How do i save the configuration after it's set up?. Regards.
  19. Hey hey easy now, I'm just expressing my own opinion on the newest update. Of course i installed and reinstalled all my drivers on devicemanager and grabbed the newest from Nvidia's website + spending countless of hours trying to fix my issues. But the newest version still breaks thing's for some, I like windows 10 and if i could choose my own version i would gladly update to 1703. Our opinions are affected by what we experience.
  20. I wish i could say the same. But it seems the new version breaks things for some, And others have no issues. If you go to the Nvidia forums or microsoft community, You will see a lot of users having problems with 1803. All i can say is that before the update everything related to gaming worked as it should, After the update i started having the BSOD ocasionally + like i described these weird driver issues related to my gpu and cpu.
  21. I envy you, For god's sake don't update to version 1803 (It's terrible) If i roll back it will be version 1500 or something. So if i'm going to play pc games i could just roll back, And when i need to use launchbox i'll just update again.
  22. That's strange. Windows 10 refused to install Frame Network 4.7 before i updated, I got the message that it wasn't supported. After the update i had no problems?????.
  23. Wow, That was a fast reply. So you need at least the fall creators update to run launchbox ?.
  24. Hi everyone and good evening from Denmark. Ok ok i know this might be a very stupid question, But is it possible to use Launchbox or lunchbox as i prefer calling it without net framework 4.7 ?. Reason i ask is that when i updated Windows 10 to the latest version it somehow broke my already installed pc games (Some of them with a lot of mods). I think there's a bug in the latest windows update that causes driver issues with the cpu and gpu, If i let the games auto-detect my hardware it will only set it to medium settings, And before the update all of them was automatically set on the highest settings. I can't even play a simple game like The elder scrolls IV without it lagging badly, I can of course fix it by manually controlling them through the nvidia control panel but makes my cpu and gpu go totally bonkers. If i roll back the update i think it will go alllll the way back to version 1600 (Had their updates blocked with policy group editor for 3 years). Only reason i updated was because of Launchbox.
  25. It's really annoying, Just installed Retroarch again and it does the exact same thing (Goes idle for more than 5 minutes). I might very well be doing this on my laptop, But my laptop is a thick brick with a 6700k cpu and 2 1080 gpu's in SLI, It can run Super mario galaxy and Wii u games at full speed, But for some reason not Retroarch? Launchbox takes 3 seconds to launch hmm.
