Hi All - Is there an easy way to map the center xbox button on a 360 controller? I want to map it to escape so I can never need anything else when using big box from my couch. I'm worried if I do joy2key that the controller wont work with RA or any other system that sees it as an actual controller. Thank you.

For exiting games on my XBox controller I use the back and start buttons together. The XBox button is used by default in Retroarch to bring up its menu for tweaking purposes and save state management.

I think it depends on what OS you are running. I was able to use the 360 button for custom functions on windows 7, but since I am now on Windows 10, it seems to be stuck on the MS game menu popup.

lordmonk did you map them just in RA or in Windows? I'd like to have to mapped in Windows to escape. Also, how do you map 2 buttons at once? Literally just press them at the same time when mapping? Thank you

The start and back buttons combined to exit games is actually a setting inside LaunchBox and BigBox, under the controller options. You can customise which buttons you press to exit but these are default. Retroarch has a similar option, which is to hold a button, then press another button to perform an action. This can enable you to load save states, take screenshots, and many other functions. I am unable to check the exact location of the settings but it should be under input settings, look for settings for hotkeys.

Click tools Options AutoHotKey (if you don't see AutoHotKey you may have to expand under the Input heading and then again under Gamepad/Joystick)
