angelobodetti
Hi Guys, I have it (as most do) where if i hold start and then press select on my 360 controller it closes the emulater and goes back to LaunchBox. This works for pretty much all systems except MAME. Is that normal? Thank you
SentaiBrad
It shouldn't be normal, unless MAME makes the controller act differently. If you remove or play a game in MAME that isn't using your controller will it still work? Pretty much is it only games that are trying to use your controller or all games? You may even need to remove the controller all together from the MAME options so that it doesn't even see it. Have you tried other versions of MAME? RetroArch MAME (just MAME), MAMEUI, No Nag? It'd probably work in RetroArch MAME... but I wonder if it's a problem across different versions of MAME.
Lordmonkus
It should work for Mame as well. But you can look in the Mame menu (Tab key) > Input (General) > User Interface > UI Cancel. You can have it set to 2 or more different bindings so you have Escape as well as the 2 buttons on your controller you want.
angelobodetti
I use the controller for all of MAME - I will check out the UI settings. It was the same issue in RA emulating MAME. I am using MAMEUIFX. Same issue with no nag, high score as well.
FistyDollars
I had the same issue with MAMEUIFX; I just rebound it to the UI settings, worked fine.
