There wouldn't be anything to do "fresh" if so. I mean you could just download it again and drop it in another folder to test I guess. I think PJ does have an installer though. 1
Maddoc1007 Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 Yes this forum and the people on it are BRILL and helpful, worst about laptops are a fall or an update especially if the laptop is about 2 years old windows10 updates can screw it royally i know used to have an hour and a half battery life on a laptop i own and after upgrading it to win10 i only get 15 mins battery life now with everything like cortana etc disabled 1
Maddoc1007 Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 Yes Demul its portable i usally just paste newer versions and overwrite the older version, PJ64 i havn't updated in a long time over the spyware and have been meaning to use retroarch instead but just have been too lazy to do it. 1

Temp Posted September 17, 2016 Author Posted September 17, 2016 Well your suggestion didn't work so he is going to get a new version of Demul and try that, the Project64 one, he hasn't decided whether he is going to update it or just get Mupen64 instead. He just told me "Mom the struggle is real" lol.
Maddoc1007 Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 Am sorry to hear that when he gets everything up and running again he should look at backing LaunchBox emulators etc and if the problem occurs again through future Windows updates he can just overwrite everything from his backup, he should look at Retroarch maybe for Nintendo64 as that's what ill be doing soon. 1
