virtua fighter 4 final tuned?

i have this chd game file and zip. it doesn't work for me in MAME.

is it possible to play this game?

i think it's naomi 2. i googled some weird stuff about it which seemed confusing, also mentioning Demul.

The Virtua Fighter 4 Final Tuned game needs

The Game Set vf4tuned.zip
The Bios Set naomi2.zip
Device Set 1 mie.zip
Device Set 2 jvs13551.zip
The CHD gds-0036f.chd

However, I doubt this game will work in Mame. It's been a while since I played around with the Virtua Fighter games, but I remember that the only ones that worked in Mame were the original Virtua Fighter and Virtua Fighter Kids. And these had issues in Mame.
Your best bet might be something like Demul, nullDC or Makaron.

Thanks @spycat, I have all those files. I tried in Demul also with no luck, so I don't think it's straight forward.

Did you put the zip file, the CHD, and all of the bios in the rom folder in Demul?  All that has to go into the rom folder in Demul when emulating any of the Naomi based arcade boards. 

 

- I have VF4 Final Tuned working with Demul so it should work if set up properly.

i just tried that this, including all the files @spycat

 

when i started naomi it gave an error 'unable to find vf4tuned.bin in romset vf4tuned.  ??

It appears that your ROM version doesn’t match to the version that DEmul expects. The easiest way would probably be if you search for a Naomi ROMset which fits to the version of DEmul that you are using.

If you have decided on Demul then forget the Mame files and get Virtua Fighter 4 Final Tuned (Rev. B) (GDS-0036F) for Demul.
This comes as vf4tuned.zip.
It's about 200MB and has just one file inside called vf4tuned.bin
