Zombeaver
In order to quickly duplicate from one device to another like that, yeah you probably would, that's true. If you import them from LB's internal structure everything will be portable.

Zombeaver
I know the question's come up before - I was thinking it was ESC. Maybe Delete?

DOS76
I'm concerned that If you moved the files into LB but your MAME.exe is somewhere else so is your MAME.ini and if that hasn't been edited to reflect the new ROM location then nothing should work. Even if you move the emulator into the games folder with the roms the roms have to be inside the roms folder or the ini has to be edited. Also just to add moving the roms back into the ROMs folder like I mentioned isn't an option either because that will break the path in LB Edited February 10, 2017 by DOS76

If it doesn't, then yeah. 1 minute ago, DOS76 said: What version of MAME its working for me just tested He's not talking about MAME. He's talking about in controller automation in Launchbox. There isn't a button to clear them but there's some way to do it. I thought it was escape or delete or something along those lines.

I have no problem editing the ini file if necessary. I'll experiment with that. It's scraping metadata at the moment so I'll mess with that later... The keymapping is screwing with me though.... some of commands are set to none by default. Is there a settings file I can edit?
DerHof2007
Looks like I may be able to edit the settings.xml...
Zombeaver
I'm sure you probably could. There is some way to do it just through LB though. I'm not home to check at the moment. I remember thinking that you actually couldn't because there's not a visible clear button or anything like that but I remember somebody figuring out what it actually was. What happens if you hover over the fields? Does it show a tooltip?
DOS76
Oh my bad we were talking about MAME I thought the controller thing was for MAME too yeah I don't know that you can do that can't you just remap it though
Zombeaver
He wants them completely blanked out though; not mapped to anything.
DerHof2007
Well, the solution for now is the BigBoxSettings.xml Set values to 0 <KeyboardVolumeUp>0</KeyboardVolumeUp> <KeyboardVolumeDown>0</KeyboardVolumeDown> <KeyboardSwitchView>0</KeyboardSwitchView>
Zombeaver
That's really bugging me now though - I'll take a look at it tonight. Editing the xml should work in any case.
DerHof2007
Yeah, it worked... and not a big deal to do but you'd think there is some way to do it from the interface... On a similar note... is could a key combo be set up for any of these? like alt+P for example.
Zombeaver
As far as I know it only uses controller inputs. I guess you could always try hitting "Alt" for the combo button and see what happens.
Zombeaver
It's delete. I just tested it. You click on one and then hit delete and it clears it.
